Leave a CommentThe caller ID was "CVS/Caremark." The automated message asked for my upstairs neighbor by name. (How would they have matched my neighbor's name with my number?) I checked with my neighbor, who is NOT insured on a CVS/Caremark plan. The call-back number provided by the automated message (877-591-0787) led to anything but a human person. The robot kept asking for the seven-digit "extension" that the automated message had said to reference when calling the 877 number. In fairness, the correct "extension" worked (i.e., brought up the name of my upstairs neighbor), whereas bogus "extensions" I tried out did not work. Then I called one of the numbers I found on the CVS Caremark Web site, 800-552-8159. The customer service rep I spoke with could not make head or tail of either my number, my neighbor's name, or the seven-digit extension. At that, I ended my "research," except that I found this site to share my experience on.

Are you serious? Do you have this much time in your day to call CVS Caremark 1,000 times? I came to this board looking for information, perhaps an intelligent suggestion or remark. LOL!BTW, you calling CVS Caremark all day, every day until the 12th of NEVER isn't going to ring up their bill!!! CHILD!!! DUH!! GO BACK AND REPEAT THE FIFTH GRADE!
I saw this phone number on my incoming call, but I NEVER answer calls from unknown callers. If someone won't put their name with their phone number, I won't answer it.Anyway, CVS/Caremark left a long voicemail, left by a ma****e, asking me to call back about "import information". Then they gave a long list of numbers they expected me to dial just so I could listen to their marketing plea. I thought my cell phone number was not available to telemarketers?
Spammers. How to cost them money:Dial their toll-free number as often as possible. Stay on line with them as long as possible. Be polite, and use up their telephone costs. Any 800 or 877 number is generally charged to the business on the basis of how many incoming calls they receive, and how much time is spent on those calls. This is legal, and I think it is also totally warranted. It's certainly not going to open the consumer to any liability, because if they're going to be criminal ****s, I don't see that there's very much likelihood they'll be seeking out the authorities to inform them of the fact that you've been a NON-criminal ****.
Caller is CVS/Caremark & left a callback number of 877-591-0787. Called the number back and got automated system trying to get you to sign up for prescriptions by mail.
Got a call from this number...didnt answer it...saw it on the caller id...thought it was a job that i applied for or so****ing.
