Did i call the police back

They said this DeKalb county court house

The call was about a I service I requested from the county. They left a message with a call back number. In my case, this was not spam.

I recived a call from this number on my cell phone but missed the call No message was left. However, in dialing the number a recorder message told me it was and unassigned number for the Dekalb County Courthouse and to call this number 404-371-3000 upon calling the number given it was for the water dept of which i live in apartment and my water is include in my rent. not sure what this is about.

That they were going to take legal action against me

I received a cal from this number on my cell phone but was on another call so wasn't able to answer at that moment. No message was left. However, in dialing the number a recorded message was received which said that it was an unassigned number for the DeKalb County Courthouse and to call the main number which is 404-294-2000. Not knowing the exact dept. in which the call originated , it is impossible to track down the caller.

I had a man call me from this number this morning and ask for some guy named Josh. I told the man he had the wrong number, then he proceeded to ask "so this isn't Josh?" "no sir, I'm definitely NOT Josh. I am definitely female." As if my voice wasn't enough of a clue...

Who Call me from this number, and what this call was for?

I know!  Some ignorant sounding female name Celeste works for the Dekalb Police dept. called from this number.  When I tried to call it back it only rang and rang.

Called on the home phone and asked for me she said her name was sherwanda. She hung up as i was coming to the phone I have tred to call back but it just rings no answer and no answering service. UGH this is so annoying

Received phone call on 01/20/2010 at about 9.30 AM, showing caller id as 'dekalb county' and nobody answered. Tried to call back and could not get connected.

Somebody called me from this number. After two beep's I answered but nobody was at the other end.I was trying to call the number back but is bussy most of the time.Doing some research online, I observed that it is a Dekalb County call. However the number did not have any name or company name attached to it when appreared on my cell phone screen.

This number called me and asked to speak to someone with a name almost like mine. She said her name was Sherrie and she was looking to speak to this person about a lead on a job. She said they met at Suntrust... I like an idiot told her the right pronounciation of my name and then told her she had the wrong number at which time she abruptly hung up. As she hung up I wondered why someone from Dekalb County (didn't say what department) was calling me... What is going on? Why am I getting a call? Is this a solicator or something? Does anyone know?

I live in Dekalb County and someone called me from this number.  They did not leave a message as to what the call was about or why they were calling in the first place.  It's just irratating!

This is the truck line for DeKalb County Government.  I am employee there. It could be any number of departments trying to reach you as all County calls going outboard show this number.
