Leave a CommentThe said my granddaughter had commited check fraud. Said he was an agent but did not indenfy for what. Is this a scam or very bad collection agency?
I received a call from Mr. Neil saying I have a legal matter pending because I committed fraud... LOL. Mr. Neil wanted me to provide information and agree to payments towards the supposed fraud I committed. Mr Neil went on to say I requested information and I received it. LOL. I got tired of hearing him and ***g up.
This compnay has my grandmother and gotten her upset saying they need to speak to her someone was using her social#. When I called back it's just a agent Brown voicemail.
Good luck on the police and prior individual claiming to pursue the company.... you have a phone number that you definitely do not want to return call as it returns to a recorded ACD (Automatic Call Dialer) and your number will be recorded and called a***n by another person. The company could be calling from anywhere and working through a computer here in Atlanta but the people using the system could be anywhere worldwide as they are an IP-based calling company. Ones phone number was acquired by someone at some point having used it either on the internet, return mail (say on a warranty card- which, word to the wise, never return those because warranty's are always issued with products- they just sell your name, number, etc.), sold to them by another company for profit or just randomly calling until someone picks up. Now if so****ing specific is referred to, then most likely you or someone you know is involved in some form or another. The name is an alias and unless they make claim to a specific activity such as filing of court paperwork, subpoenas, sending out individuals out to a place of work or residence (and they better show up) etc. after which time they don't do it, then you have a****ential legal matter. The use of the term "investigator" or "investigating a matter" is used broadly and though sounds important, they are only investigating (check the definition of said word in the dictionary). If they claim they are a "detective", "officer", "attorney" (or claimed representative), then there may be a violation but the call then needs to be recorded and unless otherwise, it's your word a***nst theirs and their information, upon becoming aware of a claimed violation, can get lost very quickly. The time put into this as a means of getting back at the company is usually better spent doing so****ing else like just ****ing up the phone or blocking the number or doing so****ing better
