BIG-TIME SCAMMERS!! CONSUMERS CLEARING HOUSE SWEEPSTAKES!! Be careful, do not let them in!!! Called my Dad and gave him the "what-not­"!!! They need to be caught! People like this need to be caught and put on a deserted island and let them try to outdo each other!!

The10/20-BIG-T­IME SCAM! Called my Dad, claimed they were from Consumers ClearingHouse Sweepstakes. Said my Dad was the 2nd place winner and was to receive $500,000.00 from Union Bank International in the Philipines. Asked my Dad to wait while they connected him to their Law Firm. Amanda Rappaport of Rappaport Law Firm then came on phone and told my Dad that of course IRS would have to be paid, and that initially taxes were set at $250.000.00 but their law firm got it down to $65,000.00, and my Dad would only have to come up with 10% of that, and after he sent that, a check for $500,000.00 would be sent by International Courier to his door on Friday.I asked the woman, how she got his number since it is a private/unlist­ed number, she stammered a bit and said it was right there on the papers from the sweepstakes office and she****umed it was my Dad's writing, my Dad didn't enter the contest. She then gave us the number for United States Lottery Commission and a claim number to verify that my Dad was officially on the winner's list, the number:202-249­-7580, my Dad called and a "Jamaican­" answered. I wish very very much, that these rip-off artists would be caught and stop the preying on our elderly who deserve to live out their golden years in peace and quiet!!!

Today is October 21, 2010. I have received five calls from this number and it is only 2pm in the afternoon. I don't answer the phone anymore because it is always a recording. I feel that its a scam to keep your line open for charging. This is my cell phone, and I am worried about hidden charges. I need to find out how to completely block this and other calls like this one to minimize my concerns and the nuisance of them calling so much.

Caller ID had ECO INDUSTRIES.  Turned out to be a robo-call claiming I had the opportunity to win a home security system, at which point I ***g up.

Stop calling people and don't speak remove people from your list you are harassing me I am going to call the police next.
