i immediately s****ed receiving these phone calls after signing up for a book club... i called the number back and was given a message that said "if you would like to opt out of our special promotions, press 1..." so it seems to be a telemarketing call to me, if you call the number back you may be given the option to put your number on their "do not call" list, which takes up to 72 hours to take effect.

They keep calling my cell... and no anser tryed calling back and it gives me a busy signal.

It's from getmyonlinedegree.com. Honestly, I don't know why people would put up with getting tons of calls like this. Just answer the call, tell them you already have a degree and be done with it. That's what I did. They'll move on to the next victims.

Verizon Wireless number making these cold call's out of Miles City Montana. Several complaint post's show it is some lady calling for debt relief that they say you asked for or a friend signed you up for and ask fro personal info-Benjamin Franklin Research company-one guy was called by a prisoner in Montana asking him to put money on his commissary account. Verizons website show's these to be SCAM call's, when you call Verizon they cannot do anything about their customer making these SCAM calls. Filed numerous FTC DNC complaint's that doesn't seem to be helping stop these 'URGENT MESSAGE' (caller id) **** up call's.

I finally answered the phone when this number just called a few minutes ago.  I received a pre-recorded political message (it sounded like Bill Clinton) with someone in the background trying to get my attention.  Everytime I tried to say*****o, I heard a click and finally the telephone disconnected.Caller ID shows the following:  V07160958430002 along with the telephone number.

T Mobile sells your pre-paid phone number to these advertisers. Once they sell your number the calls never end from ***dreds of advertisers. Just say no to T-Mobile pre-paid.

Last night came in at 7:38pm, tonight at 5:35pm and it says "Urgent Message" on my phone.  I have not answered either time and there is no message.

I got a call from this number 406-852-8223.  I didn't not answer it, but from my research it is a Verizon Cell and it is a  scam!

S****ed receiving these calls on July 6, 2010, I don't recognize the number therefore, I don't answer.  I just called the number back and as others have said there is a recording, no real person.  Such a waste of time.

I just got the same call in the same night but @ 9:45PM! I didn't answer but called back and got the same recording. These people or whatever they are, aren't supposed to be calling this late!

This number called me @ 9:30 on a Friday nite. ***? These people need to understand that you just cannot do this. I called it back and there was some recorded message....thank you for calling back, if you do not want to be on our calling list press 1. It may take up to 72 hrs to remove your name. My name should not even be on your list.
