My card was supposedly charged over $2500 for a Macbook Pro purchase and a phone number with area code 844 was given as a target call back number if I thought the charge was bogus

Joe the Tax Guy this is a scam number, i work at a tax office and they have called some of my clients with threats of lawsuit from the IRS if they dont pay a fee. BEWARE!!!!!!!

MG Caller saying he was with IRS. Did not know my name, but said IRS is filing a lawsuit a***nst me. I don't owe them any money. Other sites are saying this company asked you to pay $ 500 to be removed from list. Caller could barely speak English.
