Claimed someone filed a civil suit a***nst me, wouldn't tell me what county it was filed in but gave me a false case number (I work as a Paralegal and know what a valid Case Number looks like) and you can only really access a case by its case number when you know the county it is filed in so this is a person falsely identifying themselves as a Process Server. In addition, if it were a legitimate Process Server, this is not the way they practice serving people, they do so with physical do***ents and follow a strict Legal Code of Civil Procedure they cannot alter or c****e. The law firm they are trying to get you to call is breaking the law and violating major sections of the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, and I will be reporting them to Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. If you look the number up on line there is close to 150 people commenting about being harassed by the specific number. Somebody needs to s**** a class action law suit a***nst the firm they are employed by.
