Does the Do Not Call Registry actually do anything?  I've reported 6 numbers that keep harassing us ... they keep calling ... some energy company - they argue with you ...

Energy Savings Company. They c****e cell number quite frequently. Claim it is not a sales call, that they just want to set up an in-home meeting to see if you qualify for Federal or State tax breaks (every does when you purchase very efficient appliances ). Hence it is a masked sales call, not on the call itself, but rather when they come out to your home. I have reported them many, many times to the DO NOT CALL list violations, but this gets nowhere, and they c****e their cell number very often. I think my next strategy will be to accept their offer to come to my house, and then send them away. Maybe after 10 - 15 visits to my home, they will get the message and remove me from their list, especially with the cost of gas no***ays.

Same thing here.  Some type of energy thing.  Usually **** up immediately.  Getting annoyed now since they seem to be calling from different numbers, and all show up as "Cell Phone FL" on the CID.  Highly annoying!

calling like crazy! Sometimes they leave a msg, but frequently no msg, calling a few times per day.  All about some sort of energy thing.  Sometimes when I answer there is noone on the other line.

I keep getting calls from these "energy savings" ... they have been told not to call - but they continue - I've reported them to the do not call registry - no luck there either!
