This call was actually to my wife’s phone. The caller ID showed the name of a legitimate local business, but when my wife answered the caller was in India and asked her if she had Medicare.

They sent me a text, while I was eating dinner on Christmas Eve with my family AND on a Sa****ay! "Hi is this Greg? My name is Mel - Im a local investor trying to reach the owner of (my address). Any c****e you'd entertain a bid on the home?"

People shouldn’t send unsolicited texts as some people have to pay for them. If I were inclined to sell my house it wouldn’t be to this weasel.
