Called my elderly ***her trying to get him to give credit card information for a $279 Amazon purchase! Beware!

Voice mail message to inform me of a .99 cent purchase that was made to my default card saved with Amazon. If I recognize this transaction to **** up and the item will be shipped. If not call Amazon customer fraud department at 866-300-3393

Asked for someone we don’t know. When I told them they had the wrong number the caller said, “That’s all right we can save you money.” Boiler room of calls in the background. I ***g up and blocked. We’re on Do Not Call.
