I filled out an app to see if I was eligible for some college grants. Shortly after submitted the form, it showed that I was eligible for Kaplan University, which I have no interest in attending. Minutes later, I received three phone calls within the hour. There was no voice mails left, just further phone calls.

I found the best way to get them to stop calling and they even call their other ***nches and have them stop also. I was up to 9 call a day. I let 2 days go by without using my phone. On the 3rd day answer the call and let them know that the person they are looking for was ****ed in a auto accident 2 days ago while trying to answer a call and you are just gathering up their stuff and answered out of habit. They said they were sorry for my loss and would not call a***n, and I have not had a call since that day from any marketer. I could not believe that it worked and the calls stopped that day.

A good way to shut these people up is to set your fax ma****e to answer calls from this number or a lengthy message.

Ridiculous attempts, 'THEY' make with trying to establish contact with you.

This number continues to call my cell phone repeatedly throughout the day for the last couple of weeks. Not sure how they got my number and I just let it go to voice mail. No one leaves one so I don't know who they are.

I have told them over and over a***n not to call me.   They are a university trying to get you to enroll for their school.  They call at least 10 to 20 times a day.   i did talk to someone and they said they are affliated with the military and gave me some ****** story about my husband getting in trouble if they remove my name since he is military.   BULL ****!!!  I asked him nicely to remove my number and name from their database and he said that he would call back in 6 months.   I dont know how else to get them to stop calling me.

Wow. I was actually considering taking a few courses online but now that I received so many calls from what is obviously a very desperate school I won't be. Are the marketing teams behind Kaplan this ******? Do they really think they can harass people into their schools? Apparently so

I am getting calls at all hour of the day from these #'s (407)903-3300, (847)783-8966, & (205)259-2125. They are from different Universities for some girl that I don't know. I wish they would stop.  I have called them and put in a complaint with each one to stop calling me. I'm sick & tired of it. JUST STOP CALLING!!!

This school scammed me out of 4 fully paid semesters then they claimed they overpaid me in the first semester 875 and i owe them. Not to mention they are still collecting money for me. It really ****s this school is getting away with that. They wont even let you set up a payment plan for money they *****ed up. Its really not fair

My husband had received calls from this number and he has told them several times that he was not interested and to stop calling but they continue to call at least 5 times a day. I don't answer the phone and they don't leave a message.

Received another call today and took it. It was Kaplan U. I told them I wasn't interested and they put me on their DNC (do not call) list and said they would no longer contact me. They followed up with an email stating I was on the DNC list. They were very professional about the whole thing. Let's see if they keep their word....

I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer my phone. The caller didn't leave a voice msg. I did a reverse lookup on the number and it was unpublished. After checking callercomplaints.com I saw that many complaints stated that the number was for Kaplan U. I have a feeling that is correct, as I recently requested info for several online colleges. After receiving numerous calls (from Everest, Pheonix, etc), I've asked them to stop calling. I haven't spoken to the Kaplan folks yet, but the next time I see this number I'm taking the call and asking them to stop. Will see what happens....

they call me three to four times a day. In the past week i have received over 20 phones calls from them. They also call in random times of the evening and early morning.

I repeat everything listed in the complaints below!STOP calling me! I'd tell w***ver is on the other end but they either **** up after one ring or **** up a few seconds after I answer. This leads me to believe it is a telemarker dialing from a predictive dialer. For those of you unfamiliar with this term, it means a computer dials numbers and when a person, voicemail or answering ma****e picks up the call is transfered to a live agent - which explains the delay between the computer "hearing" a voice and the agent receiving the call. This also explains why they rarely, if ever leave a voicemail. In the few short seconds it has taken me to write this, I have received 4 calls from this number.

My daughter gets a call on her cell phone from this number daily. This is not cool. She says it originated from some internet gimic and she does not want to get these calls. THIS IS HARRASMENT.

This number continues to call my home phone during the day.  I don't know whose number this is but I sure as heck ain't answering.  Does anyone know how to block this number???  Thanks :)

This number keeps calling my cell phone and trying to market their business. I am not interested. Not to mention the way they address themselves. they act as though I am someone else and when you say you have the wrong number. They continue with "well, maybe you would be interested...." I DO NOT WANT THESE PEOPLE CALLING MY NUMBER"!

I had the same problem with them constantly calling my cell phone while I was at work and never leaving a message.  I just called the number back, and it is Kaplan University.  When they answered, they told me to hold!!!

Who has this number???  It keeps calling every day with no caller id, no message, and no answer when I pick up.

This number calls my cell all the time but never leaves a message or identifies itself.
