My cousin is receiving canned calls stating someone else known to my cousin didn't pay their taxes. Never listened to it all the way through because it's nonsense. We called the FBI.

Left a message indicating that this was the IRS & that an investigation in my name is open in my name for tax evasion - what they don't know is that I'm already up-to-date on my taxes. When I called the number back from a different number than what they had on me & began to ask questions, the individual ***g up.

Claim they are IRS

Claiming that IRS has opened an investigation in my name for tax evasion, when infact all my taxes are up to date.
