With caller ID, who needs to talk to these people. If you don't recognize the number they can talk to your VM.

They call about every 2 months, and say if I am not "Jessica so****ing" then ****-up....yep, I **** up.....

This company just s****ed calling my parents house looking for me. I know I don't have any unpaid debt that would have gone to a collection agency. They said they had an important matter and asked for my number. My mother told them no way.

These people are relentless, they have called me at midnight. I too never received a letter or any kind of notice.  The messages are recorded and there is no live person on the line, but they want you to call back and then they ask you for all kinds of personal information.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.... PLEASE.....

I just filed a complaint with the Federal Do Not Call Registry. Go to www.donotcall.gov and register your phone number there, if you have not already. Then you have to be on the list for 31 days before you can file a complaint (this is only to give telemarketers fair notice that you have registered). But hopefully if enough people do this then they these a**hole will be busted. Everyone do it if haven't already! Please!! I'm sick of being woken up early in the morning for this s**t!

god**** IT, these !@#$%^&*ers have called me FOUR times today!!! I posted about this on March 13th, and it hasn't stopped yet. I never answer the phone because someone said that they're only trying to figure out when I am available. I'm so glad that I have not answered even once because I'm hoping they'll just give up. I don't owe anyone money-I don't know how the***** they got my number!!

I have had the same issue with this (408) 762 7278 calling me. It has been a daily thing for the last three weeks or so. I usually ignore the call and it goes to voicemail. They leave a message saying they have important personal business with me and to call them back asap. I answered the call once ready to let someone have it and it was the same recording telling me to call them back... What is this???

This is a scam. They have been calling my cell phone number repeatedly and when I called back, they keep ****ing up on me refusing to give me information about their business.

I received a VM from a computer stating they had personal business.  When I called back they said they were a collection agency and asked for my reference number.  I told them they did not leave me one and then they asked for my phone number that was called on and they could not even find the number in their system. SCAM!!!!

They first s****ed calling me on the 1-800-565-1675 number. Since I didn't answer, now they are using  408-762-7278. Some sort of collection agency. Probably some sort of scam. I'm going to file complaint with the Federal and State No Call List.

they've been calling me at 8 am almost every day for a week now. I haven't answered any of their calls but they leave the electronic message on my voicemail about personal business and whatnot. I have no idea how they got my number, but just kinda glad to know that I'm not the only one. Do I just need to c****e my cell #?

These "Rickenbacker" has been calling my house weekdays and weekends. Leaving a message that they personal business with me.  I have never answered and have never called back the number they leave.

Having the same problem as those stated above from this number.  Whom ever is calling they need to be stopped, but how?

Azhar, that is because you probably got a computer calling you and the computer is just seeing when the line gets answered, to log a time with your number for when you are home and can have a real person call you.

I am receiving regular missed calls from this number . They drop the line before I pick it up . And if i answer the call in time, even then the other party drops the line.

These calls are from Rickenbacker Collection Agency, If your name was used as a reference for someone else on any do***ents then they are calling to try and contact someone you know. That is****uming you are not being contacted for a unpaid debt.

I received a letter, then the phone calls s****ed.  They claim I owe a towing company money (2800.00) in California.  That would be great, but I have not been to California for about 13 years and my car has never ever been towed.  I believe they are a company who got lists of names and are trying to scam people into believing they owe money.

Same as leticia.  Many messages left on my phone that are short on detail.  No unpaid bills on my part and never anything in my mailbox.  They are just fishing for money from unsuspecting fools.

Rickenbacker with phone number (408) 762-7278 has been repeatedly calling over the last 3 months leaving messages on my voice mail saying that they have a personal business to discuss with me. Yes****ay they said they are a collection agency and I have been reported to them for an unpaid bill. If this were true, how come I have never received a written communication to this effect.  Surely, these people are just trying to scam me and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
