With a heavy accent they said they were with Texas Medical Department, when I asked who was calling. This immediately alerted me to the fact they could be a spam. I have had several similar calls asking for Medcal # for verification to get a new Medicare Card. They know that the Medicare card is also the same as your SS# and I refuse to give them any information they get angry. I have blocked now over 25 numbers from my phone. This is getting rediculus. Isn't there some way to stop them, short of having to c****e my phone #?
