Leave a Commentwanted credit card info & said I would go get it & left them on hold till they ***g up,they waited a long time.
caller rang the telephone for about three to four rings and then ***g up-my caller id caught the number. please no phone solicitations!
Here's a website concerning them, along with contact info, such as an email;http://www.ibegin.com/directory/us/maryland/b ... g-3702-bank-st/I will be deluging their email box with a zillion requests to stop calling me.
They continue to call even long after we've asked them to remove our number. Next step is to buy a whistle and use it on them, as someone else did on another posting board concerning this number.
Calls several times a day ***ody there when answered and no message when not. Very annoying. My number is on the Do Not Call list. I don't think paid solicitation agencies should be exempt from Do Not Call because they claim to be a charity.
This is Central Donation out of Baltimore, MD. They are a PAID telemarketing firm, that makes calls for various charitable organizations. They are NOT a non-profit organization, and therefore are NOT exempt from the Do Not Call registry. Therefore, you can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov, click on Do Not Call Registry on the left, then click on File a Complaint). I've reported them 3 times now. I've spoken to these *****s no less than 10 times over the years and requested that they stop calling. They always promise to remove me from their list, which lasts a month or two, then they s**** ******-dialing me a***n. Report them whenever and wherever you can to put them out of business!
calls frequently, sometimes early in the morning. ****s up when I answer, doesn't leave a message.
Refuses to put me on do not call list. Has called from various numbers for years
These people call us like 3-4 times a week. I've s****ed getting nasty with them. My husband told them we're not donating anything, but if they're in the neighborhood, we're accepting donations. I'm to the point where if I can't stop them from calling, I might as well get a little satisfaction at telling them to bug off.
I do not want any one calling my number that I do not know. I see this is Ctrl Donations - which is a way of getting around the do not call list. Stop this calling.
I have been receiving repeated calls from this number, when we answer they **** up. How do we get this to stop.
We keep getting repeated calls from 410-327-5900 and when we answer they **** up. 8306
Keep calling - leave no message and/or **** up when I answer
12/12/2008 5:34. no message. if i get a live person i get my voice recorder to say "this household neither gives out personal information nor discusses business matters over the phone. please send a letter" i get back in another way ... i dont hear the phone ring. i am looking into getting a telebouncer or a caller id manager.
Their Caller ID comes up as "Central Donations", but if you google them, it is really "Central Telemarketers, Inc." of Baltimore, MD SCAM!!
Leave no message. Received 3 calls in 7 hours. Very annoying.
called with a "warning about my credit card". no way to get through to a live person.
Wanted credit card numbers.
I received a call from this number at 8:30pm on Oct 3, 2008. I lumbered over to the callerid to see that I did not recognize the number. I picked up and then ***g up the phone. This is the second or third call. No message is ever left. When I feel like it I will answer and work them if possible, but I expect it will be only a recording. I agree with Lone Star, that a computer hook up to screen calls, like Spam filters would make a million. I have heard of devices that play a recording that says, If you want to complete this call, rekey the last four digits of the telephone number. A friendly caller is inconvenienced, but is able to get through. An automated dialer will never get through.
W***ver invents a selective call blocker that can be installed locally will win millions of hearts and many more millions of dollars. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. If a charity doesn't have the guts and character to put their name out along with their number, they will never get a contribution of any kind from me, cash or surplus goods. I really like pmv's idea of the ***** penalty for these leeches. I'd vote FOR it come November 4th.
I had surgery Thursday-it is very hard to get up and down without pain.I hear the phone ringing and find out this 410-327-5900 has called.I will not under any cir***stance buy anything over the phone. I want this call stopped.
The male voice on the phone said "it's about that time...yea, yea". I ***g up. It is rather disturbing.
They call, I wake up, the criminals **** up.when they get caught, and they will, We should demand the ***** penalty.
These people called me after 9 p.m.--I was in bed sleeping-- and then just ***g up when I answered. It is not the first time. The calls need to stop.
I've received calls from this number for weeks, but when answered there's no one there. I called back today and was told they were Central Donations. I explained by experience and asked to be removed from their list. I was told it was AmVets calling to see if I had donations. This is really unfortunate that AmVets has outsourced their donations calls to a company whose predictive dialer is so unreliable, because they have lost me as their client. I used to donate to their cause several times a year. Now I am a former donator.
This is from the National Children's Center to tell you they have a truck coming around in your area and asking if you have anything you'd like to donate.
please stop these calls,
calls, leaves weird half message or no message,
Looks like a third party solicitor at best, or worst this is a scamThey said they were with the United Cere***l Palsy.
Central Donation Services Inc410-327-59003702 Bank Street, Baltimore, MD 21224Baltimore, MD 21224I called them yet a***n and asked to be taken off the phone list. They said they are experiencing "phone problems". I have also filed a complaint at Maryland Attorney Office athttp://www.oag.state.md.us/Consumer/complaint.htmOn the left click "General Complaint"
we receive a call almost every night around dinner time (5-6pm) and once answered, the caller ****s up - this is really annoying.
Receved unwanted call from 410-327-5900. ***ody was on the line and call was disconnected.
This a scam phone number. Next time they call answer it and then tell them to hold on and lay the phone down and don't come back.
This number has been calling 5 or 6 times a night s****ing at dinner and going up until almost 10 PM. Not only am I on the Do Not Call List but I was under the understanding if they called after 8pm it is considered disturbing the peace.
receiving several calls and **** ups from 410-327-5900
Central Telemarketin***0-327-5900 3702 Bank Baltimore, MD 21224
This call is from Disabled American Veterans (AmVets). I donate to them fairly often. I leave the donated clothes, toys, furniture, etc. at the end of the driveway and a truck comes by to pick them up. I wish they would have their name show on the caller ID, when they call. If they did, they would likely get more donations from me. Please remember as someone mentioned earlier, the Do Not Call List does not apply to charities.
Number calls repeadedly and disconnects as soon as phone is answered. This has happened numerous times and is just annoying. When called back theres a busy signal.
Received a phone call from 410-327-5900, they don't say anything they just **** up when you answer. I called the number back and this lady answered Central Donation. I told her to stop calling my house so we'll see what happens. As for the DNC (do not call) registry that's a joke, what good does that do when yor name is on a list and they still call your house.
