Here's an idea: Stop using every one's time and equipment to make a profit. Stop calling people, business and private. You want people to trust you with credit card payments, but you can't obey a simple law. We pay for our phone service so that customers can call us, not you. It's for our purposes, not yours. And before you hand-wringing, bed-wetting, *****-wearing, whining loud-mouthed liberals s**** crying First Amendment: get an education. The First Amendment had nothing to do with you annoying 99.99999% of the people you call. And it certainly didn't mean at everyone else's expense.

Clearly the numbers are NOT listed as business numbers. What is your source of information to pretend that these cell and home phone numbers are business numbers? If there is a fault, it needs to be resolved, however -- if you call a number and no one answers more than three times in a week... chances are it is NOT a business. Fix your "automated system" or face the deserved FCC penalties.

What is happening is that it is an automated system. The national do not call list does not apply to business phone numbers. You have to speak to someone and ask to have your number removed. If you ignore the calls, they will just keep calling. I agree that its highly annoying but like i said, it's an AUTOMATED SYSTEM. It calls a few numbers at a time and once one person picks up, it releases the other calls. I see people getting so worked up over this it is ridiculous. Very simple solution: call, ask to be put on the 'do not call list', calls end. JUST CALL 410 828 4286 AND TELL THEM US YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR NUMBER REMOVED FROM THE SYSTEM. WE NEED THE PHONE NUMBER THAT WE ARE CALLING TO REMOVE IT.

I too have received at least 1-3 calls a day for the last few weeks from this number who doesn't say anything, and then ****s up.  I too have a small business that's about to fold.The Maryland Attorney's Office needs to get involved and shut this down.

They have attempted to call us 12 times within the last month or so.... pretty desperate....

This number routinely calls my business line.   Never leaves a message.  Please shut this thing down!!!!

I've been getting a lot of calls from them.  Try calling 1-888-727-4286 and asking them to remove you from their calling list.  Their website is www.usbne.com and it has a fax number to try too.

Always getting calls with no one there.  I finally called back and asked why.  The man was very polite and asked for my number and said he'd have it removed.  They do payment processing for credit cards.

FIRST NO ANSWERTHEN A WOMEN COMES ON LINE ASKING IF THE BUSSINED IS ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS, WHEN ASNWER WAS DENIED TO HER, THE WOMAN(NO NAME GIVEN BY HER FOR OBVIOUS REASONS)BECAME ANGRY TREATENED THAT SHE WILL COME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO THE BUSINESS ADDRESS BECAUSE I, AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE BUSINESS WAS MEAN WITH HER.IS ANY LEGAL WAY TO TRACE DOWN AN OPERATION OF THIS MANNER AND SHUT IT DOWN?BESIDES DISTURBING THEY LOOKING FOR INFORMATION TO OBTAIN INFO IDEN***Y, OR MONEY MOST LIKELY. I DO NOT SEE OTHER REASON IN LOOKING VIA PHONE FOR CREDIT CARD INFO.

I get too many calls from this number

Received a call today around 2:30PM from a gentleman (sounded old) that wanted to speak to me or my****ociate(s) within my business.  I said 'speaking'.  He said he is a 'process server' & then the line went dead.  I tried to return the call about 15+ time but the line is always busy.  Makes me concerned that it may have been important but also skeptical that I am unable to return the call.

I have gotten several calls from this number but they never leave a message.

I have been getting calls for months, I Just found out when I called back that the company is Merchant Services, I spoke with Joy ***mings and she told me they took my number off the call list. We will see, apparently they get numbers of business owners and call and want to see if they accept visa. Call back and **** up on them.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone, which is also on the do not call registry.  No one was there when I answered, I tried to call back but the line was busy.

We have received numerous calls from this number.  They never leave a message and when answered, no one is ever there.  Attempts to call back are unanswered.  I see a lot of complaints dating fairly far back.  Has anything been done or is this just another waste of time?

Received many calls from this number for more than a month.When I would answer no one was there until just today and he mumbled the business name and kept asking for the owner or manager even after I said "speaking".when I asked what I could do for him he got frustrated and ***g up.Like the other business owner said, Baltimore trash for sure!

Received a call from a low rent Balti***** (Baltimore ****** south east trash like Canton, Dundalk, or Brooklyn Park)originating from this number.  I know this accent well since I have spent much time in that section of town.  It was a white male in his 40's with an alcoholic slur and could easily be a barker down on Baltimore Street.  He ***g up when I mentioned no money was available.    I tried to call back, but no answer.  He most likely picks up numbers from business license and corporation registrations  listed on the Maryland department of****essments and taxation website.  It appears to be a scam operation so I will report it to the FTC and the Maryland attorney general. I am listed on the do not call registry.
