Anonymous Very annoying that there are soooo many scammers! Received a call from this number on 12/19/2024 at 5:14 pm. Nasty people!

Said he was a representative from Amazon calling to ask me information about my account to confirm my recent order. Then he told me to F*** off when I told him I don't use amazon.

Bill J. In April I reported this number as a scam. It came in as "unknown number" or some such phrase. I was amazed to call Doctors Without Borders and find it is a legitimate fund raising org. The caller had asked for donations to Doctors Without Borders. Looking I see a scammer wouldn't know I had a history of donating to Doctors Without Borders. I am worried about other complaints I see on line about this org.

If caller claims to be Doctors Without Borders and you feel a need to give, DON'T. At least offer to send a check and see their reaction. Scammers want credit card numbers, etc.

Said they were from COM ED. Wanted to go "over" my electric bill to "lower" my rate. I asked if they were from Com Ed, why did my Caller ID not show this, but unknown. He had no answer for me and I so informed him to stop calling. This may not have been a scam call, but it sure seemed like it. This was a land line call.

I reported on the do not call registry. If you have time, please report as well, thanks. The frequency of these calls is increasing. I am asking my elected officials and Verizon to take a more active roll in protecting their customers

They show up as a Missed Calls on our cell phones . These Spammer / Scammers hope you hit re-dial to there Unknown phone number . There is a Scam going that charges and bills you $19.99 on your phone bill for calling them back and Over Seas charges . Do not just answer call coming in on your cell phone and Do Not Call Them Back . DELETE their phone number from your missed call list at once and never call them back .
