What an****. He called and said he wanted to talk with my 85 year old ***her in law. He suffers with Alzheimer's and most days he could speak with him, but that was a bad day for him. Jim said he didn't believe me and wanted to speak with him "right this minute". When I told him that it was not going to happen, he ***g up. A Jim Dincan just called for my son.  I asked what the call was about, & he said it was a personal matter.  Very mean guy.  I told him that I needed to know why he had to speak to my son, & his reply was, " I TOLD YOU 3 TIMES, THIS IS A PERSONAL MATTER, THIS IS A PERSONAL MATTER, THIS IS A PERSONAL MATTER!!!'  I told him that if he wanted to get the message to my child that he would have to go through me.  He asked in a VERY nasty way a***n.  I asked him to stop being **** a **** & he ***g up.

Research on the Web for this number and also calling the number back shows that it is connecting to a law office in San Francisco. The person answering this extension did not sound like the same man who made the initial call to my phone. Exploring the phone menu driven system seems to show it belongs to a law office. Another web search indicated a relationship between this number 415-695-8356 and a fax number of 415 986-1231.  The fax number looks like it legitimately is****ociated with several different law offices at 180 Montgomery St Suite 940 San Francisco, CA ***04. The question is, is this caller a scammer who is utilizing a caller-id s****er? In other words, the person who called initially could fake their caller ID using a technology.  It looks like some people already posting on this site have called the number back and reached possibly the same person?  Here is a list of the lawyers that are****ociated with the FAX number on the web: Fax: (415) 986-1231, which in a previous search was****ociated with the phone number in question of 415 695-8356.  There is also a correlation between the fax number of (415) 986-1231 and the law office phone number of (415) 986-1338.   Which brings us back to the question: is the 415-695-8356 phone number being s****ed on caller id?  (415) 695-8356 is LANDLINE number belonging to:Phone Company: AT&T Location: SNFC CNTRL/SAN FRANCISCO, CALocal Calling Area:San Francisco CATHE BELOW LISTED ATTORNEYS ALL SHARE THIS ADDRESS Suite number AND FAX number:180 Montgomery StSuite 940San Francisco, CA ***04Fax: (415) 986-1231  (which is****ociated with 415-695-8356 via one site)* Patrick Michael Donnici* Valinoti & Dito LLP* Kenneth Valinoti - (actually answered the 415-695-8356 phone number in person, but did not sound like original "Ken Ray" caller). * Law Offices of Ernest S. Murphy, Attorney at Law* Thomas, Mark C.  Firm Name :  Brownstein Thomas, LLP    My conclusion, is either this is a real caller id number a lawyer uses to collect info, or it's a s****ed caller id number, and the scammer just hopes to get info during the call, but then why would the caller actually leave the number on your answering ma****e for you to call back? That would be a waste of their time. Which makes me think, the number comes from a law office. But it still could be a scammer who works at the law office, calls and wants you to call back for some reason, possibly for their own personal scammer reason. Anyone else have any more info?

Someone called and asked for me by first name. I asked, "what is this regarding?" He said, "it is a personal business matter" (sounds like a contradiction of terms to me).  I said, "you can call back and leave a message on the ma****e". He called the ma****e and left a message saying he was "Ken Ray" and his phone number was 415 695-8356. He left no more info. He sounds like a mixed / light skinned black man in his late 20's or early 30's.  He has an understated creepy vibe to him.

call was, "This is Jim Duncan, I need you to call 415-695-8356."   No reference to anything at all.  I called back and asked who he was and what his profession is.  He asked who I was, to which I said, "The person you just called, now what is your profession."  He then said, "Goodbye" and ***g-up.

Ken, Ray called me and left number of 415-695-9356, no reference to anything!!I try to call back to him he just ask my pay the bill  when I ask for the reference, he just hand off the phone!

My girlfriend continually gets calls for me from this number.  It's always from Jim Duncan.  He never says anything about who is calling for/from, just that i need to call him back.  i think i'll hold off.

This guy calls me at work and leaves messages, I have reported it to the ftc.His name is Jim Duncan, I called the number back and it just rings out. I am sick of getting this call. Leave me the***** alone.

KEN RAY CALLED ME SAID I HAVE A $3000. OUTSTANDING HOSPITAL BILL.THEN TOLD ME I NEED TO PAY HIM IN CASH BY FRIDAY 4-10-09 OR ELSE HE WILLFORWARD IT TO THE COLLECTION AGENCY. I CALLED THE HOSPITAL THEY SAID I AM ALL PAID UP NO OUTSTANDING BILL AND THEY DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE BY THAT NAME. THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER KEEP AWAY...
