I just politely tell the survey folks that my time is valuable so I charge $150 per hour with a 2 hour ($300) minimum. I tell them all they have to do is mail me the survey and a check & SASE and I will gladly fill it out and mail it back after the check has cleared. Problem solved.

They called on a Sunday and said that they were doing a survey on local hospitals. Doesn't sound good.

Hey, I actually work for Wilkins Research.  We are a research firm.  We sit at a computer and surveys pop up.  We are hired by different organizations (insirance, radio stations, city government, etc...)  Our computer dials the numbers that the company puts into our system.  Whether it's a cell phone, fax ma****e, whatever it is.  We have no control over who it calls.  HOWEVER if you don't want us to call you-when you receive a phone call, just please politely let us know.  The no call list does not pertain to us since we do not sell anything.  All we do is ask you the questions and type your answers into the computer.

I got a call from them too...they stated they were from Equifax Ca***a and that my credit rating improved and I was en***led to some credit.

This phone number keeps coming up on my caller ID....I have signed on with our state attorney generals office to stop these kind of harrassing calls....PLEASE STOP CALLING.

They called to do research on radio listening habits. Survey took about 30 seconds.

if we agree on a specific day and time to visit their website and / or send an email, and we get everyone we know to do the same, we could****entially crash their site. then what would they do?

They have called almost 5 times in past 10 days, and **** up if they hear our voice, never leave a messege.Very irritating and annoying. Call at all odd hours, even 9 pm at night. Going to ignore this number in future.

Received calls from this number-said they were from the national gallop poll.I said 'no thank you, take me off your list' and ***g up.  Then they called back and ***g up when I answered.  I guess they were ****ed I wouldn't parti****te.  Woman who called identified herself as Teri.  Hey Teri, if you're reading this get a real job instead of bothering hard working people trying to spend quality time with their family after 8pm

The call several times a week for the last three weeks or so, but never leave a message.  I don't answer numbers that I don't know.

I received a call from 423-648-4908.  I asked how they obtained my cell phone number.  They stated they obtained from a phone bank?  They stated they were conducting a survey for radio stations on which I listened to and my age.  The gentleman I spoke with said they were call Wilkens Research.

I called the number and got a recording saying they are some sort of opinion poll place, that they are not trying to sell anything, that it is a survey of some type so they hope next time we answer the call when they call a***n. No way to get off their calling list, alas.  If you google, the number and address is for SENTRY INSURANCE COMPANY, so they are probably doing market research about how much you pay for insurance, etc - to find out if they can sell to you.

I just got called. I tried reverse lookup, but don't want to pay the fee. Thank God for caller ID!
