Left no voice mail; calling back - the number does not go thru and just disconnects. So it is an 'obvious' scam of some sort which you will hear about if when you answer the phone.

Had my first name but was asking about an address I didn't recognize and kept mumbling the company name then ***g up

Caller ID; KIR****D, WA / Robo call / No message / Call back = so****ing called Lincnow Media. IMHO, in todays atmosphere of ID theft and SCAMS, anyone who thinks that cold calling for a business is a good way to get it done it off my table even if I was in the market they are advertising. That's for charities and all!

elsa Have gotten 3 calls from this number on my cell phone....and office steve johnson.fiancial crime investigation....left message and and idian accent very hard to understand....i had to listen to the message atleast 20 times and had my spouse listen to it just as many times to make any sense...has my soical number told me i have 48 hrs to respond or he will call the cop that i have a legal complaint a***nst me and the rest i couldnt undertand ....left this call back number......is this a scammer???

Also Annoyed I've had the same experience and got into a verbal arguement over the phone, along with quite a few ******ities and the threat that (the **** who called) they would be coming to my house to **** me. He was Jamaican and had a Guinea accent; when I called him on it, it shut him up for a few seconds. This was about two weeks ago... This morning, a***n, the same man called, stating his name was "Officer Will Smith" (LOLOLOL) and to call him back ASAP but would not disclose his business name. The number he gave to call him back was 425-216-6611. The number on caller ID was 5256-9163 ...which isn't a valid number.

Annoyed As Well I had someone call me leaving a voicemail on my cell phone stating his name was the aforementioned "Officer Robert Miller" He was really quite rude in the message said so****ing about payday loans and I needed to call him back .....Funny thing I haven't had any payday loans in 8 years and it was paid off.  I am just going to report it the best I can and ignore this idiot.

Annoyed Someone called me from this number leaving a voicemail saying that I owed a payday loan and if I do not pay in half and hour there will be repercussions. I asked them for the company name and I told them I never made any loans with them. (Ihad made a payday loan with one company and have been with this  for years. The person said that his name was "Officer Robin Miller". He had a heavy Indian accent and was yelling and threatening over the phone. He said that I had to make the payment in half an hour. He said that in order for this payment to go through, I had to to fax them my credit card number with expiration date and a copy of my drivers license. Also in the fax to say that I will not dispute the amount. I called my lawyer who told me never give out any personal information. That it is obvious a scam and call bank and file a report with the police station. I did all this. The bank says that my information was probably given to third parties.Very disturbing!  By the way, I looked up their information on the internet and cannot find any info.

LOL.  If you listen to the message when you call it says you should dial 5 to dial an extension.  So you would do "5 5240"

I received phone call from somebody that left message and asked me to call back for job position at Microsoft.She asked me to call to 1-888-767-8704 ex: 5240 and let her know if  I am available. I couldn't do it because your system phone no allow me to reach this extension.Every time when I try to put the number for extension 5240 it says wrong action.Please call me 425.746.1367 and help me understand how to reach her.Thank you.David Normatov.

cowboygeek There's nothing das****ly about these guys, really.  They are selling SEO services and obtain their contact info from WHOIS searches on recently registered domains.  They took a simple "I'm not interested" and didn't press me further.

AJ I have received calls from this number more than once. Someone calls and before I can reply they **** up. I have tried calling back but it's of no use. It almost seems like their recruiters have to show some calls on their calling list - for a bonus or perhaps to let their bosses know that they are indeed busy working. Other than that it dosent make sense to call and **** up before you speak, not call back and/or not reply when people decide to call back.

Lily I just got a call from "Antonio" at this number last night.  He didn't leave his copany name, just said he wanted to talk to me about my website.  He knew my web site url.Funny thing is my website is not even live yet. No one except for me and my husband even knows it exists.  I just bought the url from network solutions last week, and s****ed building my website this week.  There's no content in it yet, just a template I'm working on.Now I don't think Network Solutions gave him my contact, because that would really be in violation of the privacy.  BUT, I did not pay to have my info private, so I'm****uming my new website is now listed in some whois or similar database which is what this guy is reading to call new clients.Either way, I called back, and no one answered.  Got "Antonio's" voicemail, it said he was with "Optimize Solutions" and that he wanted people to leave their contact info and their web address, but didn't bother leaving him a message.

Ft Walton Beach, FL Just got a call from this number, said he wanted to talk to me about my website also. Gave me this number to call back. I also just moved my site from Network Solutions and didn't pay to have my info private either. They are definately looking at the Whois info.

This is a call center from India making cold calls about recruiting IT consultants for Tek Systems. The caller ID shows as TFS ELEC MAN - Teksystems should consider other tactics instead of making cold calls.

SMW Been getting calls from several different #'s from the same area of Washington state. Have spoken with two different "represen***ives" who claim to work for a company called ecommerce positioning. One claimed their was issues wih the "back end" of my website. The other claimed to want to help me with my marketing. Steve Yes this number is from E-Financial, I called them a while back to do some business with them. Haven't done business yet however, I can't say anything durogatory about their firm when it comes to service or the general makeup of the company only to the extent that I wish I thought of their business model 10 years ago.

Elizabeth I've being reciving calls from this number almost three times a day.  They don't leave a msg to tell me for what they are calling me.  I would like to these people stop calling me for once.

I got several calls from this number.  They were telling me they represented my life insurance company and wanted to increase my coverage and decrease my premium.  They knew relevant information such as name, amount of policy, address, birthdate, amount of premium, etc.  When I would not give them social security numbers, or bank information, they ***g up.  I contacted my life insurance company and they said it was not them or anyone representing them.

Leon It was a insurance broker from online. EFinancial. I went online thinking that i was getting a free quote. I didn't know that life insurance companies looked at more than just my health. Anyways, i got an accurate price for my life insurance and how to apply with the company i picked.

calls come repeatedly from this number, there is no one there when I answer, which has only been once.  I receive at least 3 calls a day from this number.  I an on the national do not call list for telemarketers, who is this number?

Looks like we are not the only people they harass. Constant calls from this number. They NEVER leave a message. Always comes up on my caller ID as private caller. So, what is the law when I am registered with the National Registry-Do Not Call list? Does anyone know?

There must be a way to find this irritating company or group. Maybe the Federal Communication Agency or the or the Attorney General from the state where you live.

We've been receiving calls from this # per the caller ID on both home and cell phone, but they never leave a message and I when I pick up they tell you to wait for "an important phone call" and never pick up!!!Can't figure out who they are and they call up to 4 times a day on the home line and twice daily on cell - been going on for over a week now!
