I have the same issues with texts and unsolicited calls.  Wrote a letter and called Verizon for credit of minutes and messages since I PAY extra for messages (can we say *****ED?).  Their letter back to me, badly written and sent twice (great efficiency there) stated that as long as the minutes and messages were within my ****py plan, they wouldn't credit me.  Funny, since all the other co's I've had in the past were more than happy to do so.  Unfortunately the co I had before got bought out by Verizon and I couldn't cancel because I was still within my 2 year contract.  I told them I didn't sign up with them so the contract was null and void.  My contract is up this month and I'm going elsewhere.  I'm about ready to s**** using "snail mail" and smoke signals to talk to people.  Less hassle and in the end probably costs less, if in nothing else aggravation!

This number is Verizon wireless.  I thought it was funny that I had just called them about a spammer that I tried to call back and got the disconnected message.  The co that issued the other number said that spammers can make any number they want show up on your phone so that you can't trace it.  I thought it was really rich of Verizon to do the same thing.  I have been having issues with them and the unsolicited calls/messages they won't credit me with.  They say as long as it falls within my "plan" they don't have to credit me.  Funny, all the other co's I've had service with were always happy to credit me.  So Verizon is getting cancelled.  As it was I signed up with a much better co that Verizon bought out.  I'm really getting tired of spending the time to look into a co. that offers me what I want, only to have them bought out by someone who doesn't.

It is actually a company called Professional Finance Company, Inc.  They are debt collectors from Greeley Colorado.  How they have this number is beyond me, but trust me, it's from them.

THIS PHONE KEEPS CALLING ME. IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME AND WHEN I TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER BACK IT SAID "THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE" WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!

Caller from 907-379-8392 tried our business saying she was contacted by Verizon rep @ 425-562-2882 regarding her personal verizon accounts.  "Verizon" said they needed to transfer Caller's accounts to new number account that was not****ociated with frmer employer discounts.  Caller 907 said she lived in Colorado, but 907 is Alaska.  907-379-8392 was not working when returned call.   Whom is scamming whom?

Just got the call from this number. it was verizon wireless calling in regards to an email i sent them a week ago. they did leave a message saying to email a***n.

I got a message from a Verizon Wireless agent.  She was responding to a question i had sent to them in an email.  this is in fact Verizon Wireless.

I got a call at 3:28 p.m. on 8/5/08 from that number. I answered it. He said "Ms F.....(my last name) This is Michael from ....(call lost). He never called back. I do not know who this number is or who is person is.

This number called in on both my landline and Verizon cell #, but no message was left.  I had reported a "dead sport" problem for my home online, so this may have been Verizon calling to try and help.  When I tried calling the number, it was not a valid number (though clearly stated as "Verizon").  Unfortunately, they left no message or good c/b number.  WHY DO SO MANY BUSINESSES NOT LEAVE CALLBACK NUMBERS?  As a customer, I'd like to initiate a call when it's convenient for me!  Yes, I know they are helping thousands of others, but still...I'm tired of getting called while I'm on a conference call, while I'm asleep, while my kids are tearing up the house...you get the picture.

I have no idea what this is about. i don't know what the area code is or anything.

I just got the call at 7:08 am.  After resear****g this number on the web, discovered it is from Verizon Tech support.  I have not reported a problem with my account and my bill is current.  I called Verizon tech support and they don't know anything!  I shared by "at***ude" about being called at 7:08 in the morning and while I was talking to the rep. the call was lost! (Can you hear me now!)

received a phone call and I called back to check who had sent it.  Message stated the number had been disconnected.....weird.

I got two calls from this number. I have the number in my contacts (a friend of a friend). When I called back the number said it was disconnected. Strange... I'll call him at his work number and see if he did in fact call me.Dan

I received a call -- called back -- rang busy.I have verizon service. I am also getting spam text messages every day -- contacted verizon and nothing they can do. Any ideas?

Got a call from that number about 1:25 today... I didn't answer since I didn't know the number.  I called it back on a land line and it says the number is not in service.  Strange...

I just got the same call today and they actually left a message it was from Verizon Wireless.

Call came in at 7:30AM. I didn't answer. No message was left. I live in AZ..this is a Seattle area code. No clue about where this is from. Anyone know?
