Latest Commented Numbers in 425-589-XXXX
This phone number is used by scammers who claim to work for Microsoft. They hack and lock your computer with a big red sign showing you should call Microsoft at an 888 number. A man named "Steve" (no last name) then goes into how your computer, banking, and social security numbers have all been hacked. You are connected to a man who tells you he is The Senior Financial Officer-Fraud Collections at your bank. (He states the name of your bank.) Long story short, they tell you several attempts have been made on your primary account for 3 different sums of money. After contacting the bank, I told them that they were not authorized by me and they said that the bank had received an email authoring the transfer. That was stopped. The fraudsters then want you to make a wire transfer for all but $1,000 of what is in your primary account - you have to go to the bank and fill out a form to have it happen. They want it expedited, never mind how the bank works. I had that stopped. They kept checking my account and found the funds had not been transferred, then called me every 15 min to a half hour for a day and a half want me to scan into a pdf the wire transfer form and send it to them. BE CAREFUL - THESE SCAMMERS ARE SMART AND THEY ARE RELENTLESS. THEY WANT TO STEAL FROM EVERY ACCOUNT YOU HAVE. Their biggest error was having a screen showing BlockFi Tracking LLC opening window on screen with Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency across the top of it. The last two calls were from an 888 and an 800 number and on the final call my husband jumped down the throat of the caller and let him have it. The calls ceased and our computer was returned to normal. I went to my bank accounts and c****ed the passwords.
