D. Garland Text claiming to be from North Texas Tollway and asking for money to cover a toll charge. Obvious scam.

message says I owed 10.25 on tolls, pay now or it will be 110.00 dollars.

Anonymous Pretty sure this is a scam. They sent the following message. "Illinois Tollway Services, our records indicate that your vehicle has an unpaid toll invoice. To avoid additional charges of $52.90, please settle your balance of $5.29 at illinoistollwayinvoice..com" I reported and blocked the number. But beware because the link seems almost legit, but isn't because Illinois tollway will never text you that you have a balance.

TH Got a text that I have an unpaid balance on the Florida turnpike. To avoid 10x the charge go to a website to pay it off. I also hope no one falls for this.
