442-332-XXXX

When I dialed this number (supposedly for customer support for Booking.com) I was put on hold for 27 minutes and finally spoke to a gentleman with a British accent; my phone carrier has charged me for a 29 minute international call to the UK ... $87!! My phone carrier says I "should have known that the 44 prefix is the international code for the UK"; seriously?? SERIOUSLY ?!?!?! Looks like a US phone number to me, in fact 442 is an area code in Southern California. Beware!
