This outfit also uses a Florida phone number to call my REGISTERED cell phone: 407-658-4336 From what I'm reading online, they use over 600 different phone numbers.
If you want to get back at these scammers, they are National Auto Warranty Service 100 Mall Parkway Wentzville Missouri 63385-4816 These creeps are also known as " Dealer Services " and their phone is 1-800-649-1856 They have been sued by the Missouri Attorney General's office for fraud and deceptive advertising as well as violations of the Do Not Call laws. These creeps are apparently renovating a run-down mall in Wentzville to use as their headquarters. The **** who set up the auto-dialing system is Zack Austin 1-800753 0870
they called and also told me my warrenty was about up on my car. That part was true. I only gave them the make, model and year. But it ended there. They gave me a nice price of $1600 for powertrain and said it's only $400 more for ***per to ***per. I should have known so****ing was up when first they called me at work. Then when I had to tell them the make, model and year of my car...don't you think they would have had that information if they were a real company trying to see warrenties. I can't believe it almost happen to me. I mean you see this stuff on the new and feel bad for the person but it almost happen to me. What can we do about this?
got a call from this # today , but the person wouldn't say anything. Just ***g up on me. Who are these people,? and where did they get the number from?
If you haven't done so already, get all of your phone numbers registered with the National Do Not Call Registry:https://www.donotcall.gov/faq/faqdefault.aspxThis is where you go to file a complaint:https://www.donotcall.gov/faq/faqdefault.aspxPlease note that you'll have to wait a month before telemarketers will stop calling. Also, company's you have done business with (e.g., purchased so****ing) in the last 18 months are permitted to call you even if you are registered. In addition, political organizations, charities and telephone surveyers are exempt. But, none of the above applies to Dealer's National Auto Warranty...or Warranties of America...or whatever they are choosing to call themselves this week. In my opinion, this fly by night oepration is nothing but a scam. Here's why: * A "real" company selling such services (auto warranties) would have a website you could visit so you could learn more about their services and/or get contact information so you could get your questions answered. They don't. That's a big red flag.* Like others here, I asked the telemarketer what his company address was. All he kept sayng was, I need to know the year and make of your vehicle. Clearly, he didn't want me asking anything. It didn't take long for him to realize I wasn't a good subject for his scam, so he ***g up on me. * When you call the number back, you can't reach anyone in person. Hmmm, why do I get the sense that if I was ****** enough to give out personal information to this organization OR purchase a bogus warranty from them that I'd never be able to contact them if I had any problems. After all, they don't have a website that lists their contact information. They refuse to give out their mailing address. The point is, this "company" is clearly running a scam operation of some sort. So, here's a thought, the next time you get a call from these ******s, let's turn the tables on them. If you're not paying for the call, see how long you can keep them on the phone by feeding them false information. After all ,the longer you have them on the phone the fewer other people they can annoy. To do this, I've created a cheat sheet that everyone should use when answering their questions:Yesr of your car: 2008Make: Chevrolet CorvetteMileage: 11, 3440VIN: 1G1GDM9AXKP042788 (randomly created VIN..but the first three represent a Chevroley Corvette, so it might be enough to make them think it's valid)Dealer: Ja****me Chevrolet of Austin, TX (Made up, of course)Well, you get the idea. Whatever you do, don't give them any real information. Especially DON'T give them your credit card information of any personal information, such as your phone number (oh wait, they already have that!) mailing address, email address, etc.
Been getting calls from this number frequently. Never pick it up and they NEVER leave a message. They just keep calling. I am on the govs do not call list. Shouldn't I be able to report them and they get fined or shut down? But where do I report them to?
I was wondering why this company is calling me
I have been getting multiple calls regarding vehicle warranties. I finally pressed "1' and gave the rep a piece of my mind. He ***g up on me. They will probably call a***n. Wish there was so****ing we could do.
my caller id said chesapeake b md.
This number called my work phone and didn't leave a message. I am****uming it is a telemarketer of some sort. Why do they bother us at work? I can get in trouble for too many phone calls. Telemarketing should be illegal.
Called to remind me a warranty I've never had was about to expire on a car type I've never owned.I suppose they're trying to sell me another item I have no need for.
