Claimed to be a rep confirming my change of address. Then proceeded to ask for that address. I declined. I then called Synchrony to confirm it was them, they stated it was NOT, and they would not verify information in that manner. ABSOLUTE SCAMMER.

Indian accent calling about my Visa account. Total BS scammer.

Recently opened a store credit card, this number just called and left a voicemail in an Indian accent that said: “Hi, this message is from Selene calling for (my full name). I'm calling from synchrony bank to verify recent activity on your (store) Visa card account. Please return a call at 866-834- 3206 available seven days a week.”

They said “you have an illness and someone is out to get you.” Pretty scary stuff. I sent the same statements back to them in fancy language and they sent back a bunch of spell-breaking words in Thai, no jokeX and then blocked me. It’s very ugly to tell a stranger you have a sickness….and that someone close to them will harm them.

Asking to speak to one of my adult daughters about charges on the Lowe's card. Followibg day, daughter finds out over 12k charged on her account. 2nd time this happens to her.

They asked "is this (gave actual name of a relative)? " I asked what they wanted and they said it was a check up of my relatives references for the bank Santander. The caller was unprofessional and had a heavy accent.

The caller stated he is with Synchrony bank calling about my Paypal account. He asked me to verify my address and date of birth. I logged into my paypal account and verified that there was no fraudulent activity. I asked to him to not call again and that I believed this was not a legitimate call. He hung up.

Synchrony Bank Couldn't understand what she was saying other than if I have a PayPal account.

Could not understand anything he said. Transcription “credit application with my other work on your application....”. Made no sense.

They ask me for my address and date of birth, they mention i have a fraudulent transaction on PAYPAL, i told her i was looking at my PAYPAL and there were not any activities that were not mine. SHE insisted she needed my address.

Could understand what they said. Talked way to fast and incoherently. I did apply for a line of credit through bh photo but was problem and the number that flashed on the screen disappeared before I was able to copy it down.

I made a credit purchase at Ashley store. Supposedly the bank holding the short term loan called needing information. But first give them a key code. I asked where would I find this “key code” on my paperwork. The girl said I don’t know where It is on your paperwork because all stores are different. Just give me your social security number then. I can locate your information. I told her I did not feel comfortable giving her my Social Security number but she could tell me where the key code was located. She hung up. I called the bank and discovered it was a scam! The bank said we never asked for your pertinent information over the phone!

This caller is not a spammer. I had applied for credit in the day they specified in the message to their bank. They called to verify information.

I had to request to speak to someone that speaks clear English. This company put a hold on my account because my son, AN AUTHORIZED USER, used it. I couldn't even put gas in my own gas with it.

We stopped answering calls from unknown numbers. We did get a restricted call following this one. If they can't speak proper English we hang up anyway.

This bank must have "customer service reps" all over other countries. Very hard to understand, does not pay any attention to what you are saying. Lowe's uses this bank for their credit card accounts, very poor choice.

The message was left by a male with a heavy accent regarding an application he said I applied for on May 8th. I did not submit any applications on May 8th. The call back number was 1-800-333-1088.

Hello This service is ok, but I don't believe the answer. It states it's a "Suspected Spam/telemarketing the number that came up is (469)333-4360. Please be aware! that it is either something covert or some serious fraud potential.

When I call an 800 number for service, this number, 469-333-4360, appears as the call back number not my cell phone number. When I called the number directly, the number is disconnected. My guess would be some type of spoofing is going on.

Synchrony Bank calling me to inquire about a recent address change on my account. Didnt feel comfortable so they sent me a text to verify it was me. I did change my address. They were making sure that there was no fraud activity on my account
