Claimed to be a rep confirming my change of address. Then proceeded to ask for that address. I declined. I then called Synchrony to confirm it was them, they stated it was NOT, and they would not verify information in that manner. ABSOLUTE SCAMMER.

This caller hacked an old dating website profile of mine and using it to contact men (I think for money?) I haven't called the number but all I know is, it is not me, they added the number to the profile when I logged back in after many years because i was receiving email messages and they are pretending to be someone else (me) and probably others, that are not active on the site anymore.

This person is believed to be a puppy scammer. Trying to sell dogs that they don't have for sale. Does not give any personal information or information that most breeders provide when selling dogs. They go so far as to send pictures and video's of dogs along with a little girl in the video that you can see her face slightly in the one video.

Synchrony Bank Couldn't understand what she was saying other than if I have a PayPal account.

Could not understand anything he said. Transcription “credit application with my other work on your application....”. Made no sense.

They ask me for my address and date of birth, they mention i have a fraudulent transaction on PAYPAL, i told her i was looking at my PAYPAL and there were not any activities that were not mine. SHE insisted she needed my address.

I made a credit purchase at Ashley store. Supposedly the bank holding the short term loan called needing information. But first give them a key code. I asked where would I find this “key code” on my paperwork. The girl said I don’t know where It is on your paperwork because all stores are different. Just give me your social security number then. I can locate your information. I told her I did not feel comfortable giving her my Social Security number but she could tell me where the key code was located. She hung up. I called the bank and discovered it was a scam! The bank said we never asked for your pertinent information over the phone!
