100% scam, first the number was VENMO then we called back and asked if he was with Zelle he said yes, then calle back again asked if he was from US bank he said yes, then Chase yes whomever owns this number or using it is running scams everywhere

Caller claims to be part of Venmo Team trying to get a security verification on your personal Venmo account because you just received money from a business account. Get email money on hold then buyer is all upset, you are asked to ask buyer to transfer $500 then you send it back. But Venmo tells you they have the money it never hits your account but you get email and text messages ( in the moment you don’t necessarily notice they are not actually Venmo official emails. ) you get told send $ from personal bank account. Refusing I was threatened to have police come to my house and fbi. I received another message saying that I would need to fill out form banking and password online, phone numbers address ect. After searching I realized that the phone number to Venmo is different from what I was given in so called email, Venmo never asks for money for verification of security on account. They may ask to mail in a paper. Hope this helps someone
