I have been receiving phone calls from the above number and I do not know who they are and would like to have them stop calling me.

These people all work for some debt collecting group. I get calls all day long from several numbers and this is 1 of them! They won't stop calling even when told not to bother me! They are trying to collect on some past debt that is over 10yrs old. Way past the state statute of limitations. They only represent themselves not any bank. I owe noone anything yet they try and get money for THEMSELVES by harrasing you withcalla all day long. ALL banks that I once owed money have been settled. These people try to get money that the Banks don't even try to get because we settled those accounts. They are trying to scare you into getting the money that waws part of a settlement. 4333

i got a number from the same company and like all people i dont like it but like all people i have had debt that i did not take care of and i did not want to admit i had debt like you all do. next time just pay your bills and dont ignore the calls it makes you look bad and that you dont want to pay any thing at all. i hate to be harrassed like all other people do but i know what i did to deserve it at the same time. just dont do what i did.

got a number on my phone for a debt collector. like all people on here i have had debt and i admit it. i dont like to be harrassed as no one does but it happned cause you did not pay your bills whether it was old debt from years ago or not it dont matter if you did not want debt you should of paid your bills on time and not withheld any thing at all. its portfolio recovery****ociates they call from many differents numbers to try to get you to answer the phone. i also get the word unavailable on my phone which is them too they are calling from blocked numbers to also try to get people to answer the phone. i got myself into a mess and did not pay few bills but i learned you should not ignore those calls it just makes you look bad like you dont wanna pay your bills at all.

i keep getting calls from these people from different phone numbers...i am on the national no call list...i owe no one anything...PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE...please contact the FCC and report these people...i think more telemarketers than debt collectors...REPORT THEM

Another "zombie debt" scam call. They call or send letters about things that either never existed, you paid off, or is too old regardless, in the hopes for some cash. Everyone these days is so "*** NOT MY CREDIT RATING!!!" that some people actually fall for it.

Called a***n today.from a number and I was able to control the converstaion after promising the guy a **** picture and a partial payment, for a charge that's not even mine! I was able to do this after noticing his lisp. You've seen the type, a gravey swallowing dork. After about 4 minutes I was able to get out of him that he had been abused by his ***her Blaine, I didn't get the last name. but it seems his ***her was a rear admiral (.) in the  navy and would use the coast guard men for someone to dance with while at sea for many months at a time. The young fellow mentioned having to nurse a bad case of the red az_z everytime his ***her would come back from sea. Bottom line, no pun intended, he said he does this sort of work due to latent hostile aggression toward men in general. He said that since he never had been or cared to be with a woman he considered women like men with long hair but not the right parts for pleasure. He said working to harass people was a ***ual turn on and it was paid therapy. I asked him why he went along with what his ***her did to him and he said " Absences makes the heart grow ******r". He actually thanked me for the conversation and my time. I do plan to send him a picture, a photo chopped picture of Barney F****s wearing a s***do. That should either cure him or really ruin him. The conversation will be down loaded to UTUBE for all to enjoy. His company made him believe that they were some sort of a rehab center, imagine that! This is as true as it is I owe them anything.

The Wall Street Journal posted a story about Portfolio Recovery****ociates, using the signature of a woman named Martha Kunkle, who died in 1995. Although she died in 1995, Kunkle's signature has apparently shown up on thousands of affidavits submitted since her ***** by Portfolio.

This makes the 10th phone number they have used to call my home phone..to which I have had only 3 weeks now..AM TIRED OF THIS BS!! Wish they would get ****arded by calls just to aggravate them like they do others.

It is Portfolio Recovery. They call me day and night. I threaten to sue them and now they never say anything when I answer. They recently bought an old debt I had when I first became disabled about 15 years ago. I am on a permanent disability. The statute of limitations concerning this debt  for the state I live in has long passed. I do not owe a penny to Portfolio but they keep calling.

If you have caller ID and trace it back to Portfolio Recovery, send a complaint to the Attorney General of your state and the caller's state and the phone calls will stop. It's illegal to call so often and most of the time they bought the debt for a penny if that with the hope that you'll send them $100. If one million people willingly send them $100 they're way ahead of the game. Don't be the one! When I answer the phone they always **** up. What's up with that? It's a 484 area code and other times it's another area code. Either way, an email to the attorney general solves the problem.
