The woman said I owed money to nortons. But I went to Norton and they said my account is clear.

They keep calling.

Called after 9 pm on a Monday, hung up before we got to the phone.  Checked for phone number 502-515-7146, it is unlisted.  Checked online, all say it's a professional begger company.  If they call, you may want to ask if their mother was a hooker and hang up.

This number is for Mdeassist which is a billing provider for the Norton Hospitals. At least that is who answered and what the caller ID says. It could still be a collection company that is spoofing phone numbers.Anyway, these yahoos managed to leave me a 2 minute voice mail of hold music before telling me that there was no one available to take my call.

Today is the second time in a few weeks i have recieved a call from this number and they just hang up on me. really annoying...

We have received several calls from this number and it always comes up 'unknown name' on the caller ID.  Don't know who it is and really wish they would stop calling as they never leave any message or speak when you answer.  It's just down right annoying!

Brenda I got a call from them and no one said anything when I answered. I searched the number and came up with Telcove of Kentucky.

It's not a collection agency. It is the Louisville Professional Firefighters Association, but I do not believe that are affiliated with them. They are "non-profit". According to the KY attorney general's website they only give 25% to the charity. If you are being harassed, call the KY Attorney Generals office and file a complaint.http://ag.ky.gov/civil/consumerprotection/charity/active.htm

The caller harassed my wife claiming that she was someone else's wife.  The caller repeatedly asked for a person who apparently owned my home telephone number in the past.  After I moved in from out of state several years ago, I received multiple calls at my new home number from creditors for this particular person.  After a one year lull, the craziness has started again.  This time they claim to be an ambulance service or a fireman's fund in search of the person.  Really, what fireman's fund is going to hound someone trying to trick them into confessing that they are really someone about whom they know nothing?  I am going to call the district attorney and have them investigated for fraud and harassment.  At the very least they are incompetent if they can't find that deadbeat after three years and don't know how to verify the listing on a phone number.
