getting scam texts from this number asking for gift cards, in the amount of $500. Stating that they are my employer.

Called a private cell at 5PM today (3/1/17) I was in a meeting so rejected it, but knew by the area code it was spam. Been getting a slew of these "lower your interest rates" calls on my cell lately. Who is still falling for this OLD scam???
