The same thing happened to me. The caller identified himself as being with Wells Fargo and wanted me to pay a late payment over the phone. When I told him I planned to mail a check he said he could waive the late fee if I paid over the phone. I declined, saying I was wary of making payments over the phone. Then he promptly ***g up on me.

got a call this morning wanting me to pay a bill over the phone while I was driving. so not gonna happen I politely told them I prefer to use the online bill-pay.

Wells Fargo Credit Card Service.I have no $, told them no $.  WF said borrow $ to pay WF.Now they harass me several times each day with silent phone calls.

who is this?  i dont have anything to do with this bank

I answered the phone and got dead air.  I do not bank at wells fargo.
