JWol They call me several times per day. Rings once then ****s up.
Call and leave no message. Called Friday night at 7:30 p.m. obviously not a credible caller.
always call, never leave messages. When I call back I get nothing but loud talking and laughing in the back ground.
Ryan They would not even tell me there company name, they just tried to sell me a service to go to school. When I called back they will not answer, and i still can figure out if this is a real company
if you call this number back it is answered by a recording for a company called Prime Lending. My best guess is, if you recently applied for a loan of some kind they call. This number has called me more than 3 times a day for the last week and they never leave a voicemail
ccc Calls for 3 days now from (503) 403-0501. no one on the line.
Shakira They call and ask for Romeo, 2x today, am/pm. I tell them wrong #, no one named Romeo lives here. Im on the do not call list, hopefully government will track these idiots.....
This IS Wells Fargo; over the limit credit service.
robocall of some sort
Destiny Yes file lawsuit find address and send letter 2 stop calling if they call after that sue need mailing address if any1 knows it
They have been calling monthly since November 2013 -- twice this week. I don't trust phone numbers that don't show who is calling. Returned one of their calls from this week and they immediately ask you to put in your card number ... not in this lifetime!!
Elizabeth This number has called my cell phone 112 times in the last 2 months. No caller ID description and doesn't leave a message. I don't do business in Oregon and have no friends nor family there.
Calls and doesn't say anything when I answer the phone. Blocking the number is a great idea. Lol
this is a mortgage company that calls 3 and 4 times a day VERY ANNOYING. WANT THEM TO STOP.
Calls, answer never anyone there, don't answer and never leave a message.
My phone was stolen
Calls often, ****s up.
Nobody of Import Heh... Here's a few tidbits for people to think about regarding these jokers. (Up-front, I am not a lawyer, etc. Seek competent licensed counsel for any legal matters.) 1) These are automated calls. The TCPA pretty much makes it illegal to make such calls unless you gave consent to the party making the calls. Giving them your number, unless it's a Cell, is sufficient for those purposes. You can notify them that this is no longer allowed them if you've done this. Moreover, the following rules *explicitly* apply regardless of your consent: - No calls before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m., local time. - No calls to numbers on the Do-Not-Call list. - They *MUST* leave who they are, who they are with, some idea of why they called, and how to call back. - Recorded or voice-synth messages are prohibited. - The following types of lines are prohibited to any automated calling system *PERIOD*- Emergency services, Hospital, Physician's office, cell phones, or any line that gets charged for inbound calls. There is a no-warning needed, $1500 per incident statutory damage that is****essable if you can prove they violated this- and can seek more if there's provable damages involved. You can seek an *****ction in addition to anything else you might do there. There may also be State level remedies in addition to the Federal ones regarding this. You have a right of action at the State/Small claims court level even though this is a Federal statute, so self-help is easily available. 2) If they outsourced the collections on this (and it strikes me that they have...), regardless of the claims, each call is subject to the rules specified in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as they're a third party under contract doing this for them. There are specific ground rules involved with third party collections: - They *CAN'T* represent themselves as the original creditor. (You CAN however represent you're working for them) - They can't call at "odd times" (Those time slots from the TCPA apply...in addition to not really being able to call on weekends...) - They can't call more than once a day. - They *MUST* leave who they are, who they are with, some idea of why they called, and how to call back. They can't disclose any of the nature of the debt to anyone other than those who claim to be the debtors. Depending on what's done (sounds like they're violating this by the numbers here...), aggrieved consumers can seek relief in a manner similar to the TCPA with a $1000 per incident statutory damage amount. As with the TCPA, there might be State level remedies that apply in parallel with this. As with the TCPA, you have a right of action to be able to file suit over this in a State or Federal level court. In my case, I'm gunning for them at the TCPA level. Four times a day, 6 days a week for about a month, now- to a Cell number I never gave them. I'm intending on using the approximately $144k of damages they've racked up as leverage to get them to absolve me of the pittance they're pestering me over (~$400 that THEY racked up fees for in violation of Depository Regulation CC that we were paying on just before they closed the account, only two weeks in the red on...) and to clear the checking account entries on. If not, heh...I'm sure I can find an attorney on Contingency that'll be more than happy to bleed them of that- or at least I can file it in small claims and get the money out of them to pay them back with...
it says the number is a non working # hows that work
rob SPAM. Caller ID read "ATT" as if to imply AT&T...?
they left messages this time, "if you are so and so please press 1..." fifth time they called today...
Chris This is a company called 'Central Education' who says they are a company that gives you recommendations for your education choices. When I asked where they got my information they said from their 'online marketing partners' so somewhere along the line my information was sold on a list. FYI, I missed the call, when I called it back(from a cell phone), they asked for me by name, so theyve got inbound call ID. Its a telemarketer so don't bother calling back.
*****o kim
it's wells fargo bros, my account overdrafted because of a pending transfer, they called. boom.
Got a fake call, claiming to be from the Security department of our company. Asked for a name and they ***g up.
areoteck
bill collector
Angry Man I JUST CALLED TO FIND OUT WHO IT WAS AND IT'S WELLSFARGO Spoke to an operator who s****ed the call with "can I get your Account # and/or Social Security #? Oh and I also noticed a voice shift from a young white lady who said "thank you for calling..." and then some different lady finished saying "...wellsfargo can I get your account #..." so I was like, ***??? then asked who was calling and she was like Sir, you called first, what is your first name...I'm like hahaha I knew this wasn't wellsfargo (u know cuz I just looked up the # here). Then she got all jumpy and I just ***g up. I'm going to call Wellsfargo and ask them what's going on... (CALLING...) ...Ok so I spoke to the operator and I guess all of us who have been reporting it have let them know and they're very well aware of it, but according to the operator there's not much they can do about it, but report it. SO THIS IS A SCAM!! DON'T GIVE ANYTHING TO THEM
Rob I've gotten ****-up calls from them every hour of the day within the legal collections hours, when I finally called back the first thing he asked me was for my account number and social security number. I demanded that he show me a Wells Fargo website with this phone number on it and he said that their automated dialer is one of several and so the phone number is not listed on the site. He said however to call the customer service number on the back of my debit card and to ask them to transfer me to the collections department and that it would indeed take me to the same people. I don't think it is a scam per sé, my account is indeed over-drafted due to fraudulent charges which is under investigation, but regardless do not EVER give your info to anyone calling you, I will call Wells Fargo Collections department and I will try to follow-up here with a physical address to which you can mail a cease and desist letter to to get them to stop calling.
Husker66 They also use 866-849-3243 and several other numbers. Robotic call asking for a femaile. It that is you press 1 and if not press 5. That is all the recording said. This has been going on for several weeks and first time they have used this number. If****ociated with other numbers they claim to be Wells Fargo. But, no proof of that. Sounds like a scam. I have had the local bank call and the clerk leaves a professional message like," Hi, this is John Jones at Wells Fargo, ***nch name, your CD is coming due and would like to talk about options., call local number." This sounds -2574 must be a scam.
Brenda This is not spam. This is Aeroteck temp agency and they may be calling you for a job opportunity. So call them back.
Same story here. Realtor too. I have been ignoring this number for weeks. Wondering how to block them.
Therese Wootton Getting multiple phone calls since April 15; no messages are ever left and when I answer the phone they **** up. I called back and they said they were Wells Fargo and wanted my acct # and SS # which I refused to give them.
recorded voice s****s out "this is an important", I **** up as soon as I hear a recording. Caller ID says Wells Fargo; must be a solicitation as I have no account or any relationship with Wells Fargo.
Money scam

Subject: Xmas AngelWhen four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where. Then, when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards *****ed, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were ****tered.Frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a **** of****. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had ***** all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into ***dreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree. Not a lot of people know this.
Well, I just got off the phone with the 800 number for Wells Fargo. It is one of their Collections departments. They are calling for someone else and have removed my phone number from the account in question. Whether or not you have a debt with Wells Fargo, they can find the account with your number and remove it from the account. Call the 800 number and they will take care of it. The calls have stopped since I did this.
I called the number back and they spoke in spanish ie wells fargo bank collections then they said*****o in english and ***g up on me before I could say don't call here a***n so I blocked their number from my phone
