it's wells fargo bros, my account overdrafted because of a pending transfer, they called. boom.

This is most definitely the Wells Fargo Overdraft office.  I called and settled an issue with them a few days ago.  The way it works is this:They have an automated dialer that calls you appr. 3 times per day.  When you answer, it takes a second for a real person to take the call.  I know FOR A FACT that this number is legit.  Warm Regards,Mike

my girlfriend gets really jealous wat****g my phone ringing every 20-30 minutes and me not picking it up saying I don't know this number. Makes me feel good and *** life more emotional. NICE.

I first s****ed getting these calls at all hours of the day. Thought it was a creditor, but ever time I'd answer, I'd get no response. They s****ed calling my house phone as well. Very annoying. I'm hoping they will be found a stopped. My husband just got his first call from them as well.

I returned a call from 503-403-2670, they say they are Wells Fargo Cardholder services. I asked them to take me off their list, they say they have, but I continue to call them every 5 minutes with the same request. They appear to not like this.

They call repeatedly several times a day.  It is very annoying

I hope someone reads this, I'll bookmark this page and check back to see;  Friends, this is a known scam group operating out of Portland(primarily) and has thousands of complaints on phone scam sites like this, BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO BOTHER CALLING THE PORTLAND POLICE!!!!  After two months of ignoring these calls, which I never answered after the first, they began LEAVING MESSAGES EVERY DAY!  Each message, they claimed to be Wells Fargo credit services, and each message asked for a different named person to call them back. This pushed me over the limit, I called Portland PD, and opened a case with the Portland Fraud unit.  I was told that they think these people have been doing this for some time now, but can't do anything BECAUSE THERE HAVEN'T BEEN ENOUGH COMPLAINANTS!!!!  So stop letting them annoy and harass you every day, stop vennting about it on net forums whee no one can do anything but commiserate, and add your voice to mine saying this is not acceptable.  These kinds of societal parasites can be stopped, and are busted and convicted everyday.  The ones that live care free and get away with it do so because no one says anything.  So please, if they call you incessantly, don't just ignore it because you're to smart to fall for it.  These guys continue to do what they do because 90% of people they reach are like you and me and spot them as scammers right away.  They continue to thrive from the 10%, largely elderly people who do fall for it.  So please, take 15 minutes, and call.  Portland non-emergency services can be reached at 503-823-3333.  I had the fraud unit in under five minutes.  They want you to call.  Thanks for your time.

I'm having the same issues with this number (and numbers that are close to it).  They've been calling my office line, not leaving a message, and then immediately calling my cell phone.  This scenario has been playing out for nearly a week, 3 to 5 times a day.

We get this call on our home phone, and then immdediately afterwards my wife's cell phone s****s ringing.

I get 3-5 calls per day from this number. They never leave a message and I have no idea how they got my number. Be careful.

I have been recieving calls from these numbers, but don't answer them.  I have received 6 in the last 2 days. Are they fraudulent?

I have received 6 calls from this number over the last two days.  The only message I heard asked if my name was such and such press one.  Then the line went dead.  I tried to answer a call from them earlier today and the other line had been disconnected before the end of the second ring.  Definate telemarker.

This  number has been calling my boyfriend for quite a while now.  He never answers, but they call anywhere from 5-10 times a day.  They call at strange times also, being as the company is based out of Oregon.  They call at times such as 7, 8, 9 am, during the day, and also at night.  He just recently got one tonight at 900 pm. We are in central time, so these calls would be happening at 5, 6, and 7am there, and after 7 pm there.  No bank that I know of works at these hours.  This is obviously a scam.

My boyfriend has been receiving calls from this number at odd times of the day.  Such as 7 am, 8 am, 10 pm, and such.  He never answers them.  No business based in Oregon would be open during these times.  This is definitely some kind of fraudulent call.  Phone holders beware.  Give them no information what so ever!

The calls s****ed almost a year ago.  Initially I got anywhere from one to three calls a day.  After a few weeks or so went by, I was getting up to about twenty calls a day.  They would call sometimes seven to ten times in an hour.  This would happen off and on throughout the day.  I got calls from these four numbers:  503-403-2665, 503-403-2647, 503-403-2661, 503-403-2670.  For many months the calls ceased.  Recently, they have begun a***n and I am FURIOUS!!! These people are INSANE!!  No matter what you do, give them NO INFORMATION!!  And I highly reccommend filing an immediate report with your local police station.  I have several stations working on it right now.  These people are beyond menaces. It's wrong and it's criminal.  It's harassment and it's ABSOLUTELY a fishing for IDEN***Y THEFT.  I myself, do not believe that Wells Fargo has anything to do with this.  I believe these are CRAZY people who do not care to make a decent, honest living.  And clearly have no respect for the privacy that other people work hard to protect.  When the police find these people....they are going to be in DEEP DEEP trouble.

I have received several calls from this number.  It states that it is from Wells Fargo card services, and leaves a number for you to contact.  When I called the number that was given, a recording states that this phone number is not an active number.  I then called Wells Fargo directly, and asked to speak to card services, and card services said that they never called and they also do not recognize the phone number that I was given by the recording.  This number is definitely a fraud call, so be careful if you receive these calls.

I also received a call from this number today 2/7/08 at 7:10 AM. I really want to know how these people got my number. As I have ready on other web sites i returned the call and an automated message said it was Wells Fargo Card Services and I don't even have an account with them. A man proceeded to ask for my account number and I ***g up. Definitely a fraud be careful!

I live in the midwest time zone and I received the call at 8:14 in the morning, which means the call generated from Oregon at 6:14 in the morning. What's up with that?
