recorded voice s****s out "this is an important", I **** up as soon as I hear a recording. Caller ID says Wells Fargo; must be a solicitation as I have no account or any relationship with Wells Fargo.

They have called me 8+ times in the past 2 days and won't leave one message

Many calls every day including weekends. Probably Wells Fargo attempting to collect a debt from someone else. It's not my debt and I can't get them to stop.

Wells Fargo - Calling me about collecting debt for someone of the same last name, not me! Will call 4-10 times per day, at all different times per day. On the plus side, if you call back and can actually talk to a live person, they do seem to remove your name/number from the call list.

Wow, I can't believe the exact same thing is happening to me!  I've paid my WF card in full every month for the past six years, all of a sudden I'm in the hospital and have no income, so can't make my pmts.  They raised the interest rate to 24%!  Now I really can't make pmts!  It is a choice of paying a bit or getting evicted from my apt. for nonpmt of rent.  I choose a roof over my head.  They are so nasty, too.  They ask VERY personal questions that are none of their business!  They call EVERY 1/2 hour and I just let it go to voicemail, but I'm getting sick of it!

Calls multiple times on my cell and now my HOME PHONE!! And there never is anyone on the line and never leaves a message. This s****ed about a week ago.

Called my cell phone carrier and the only thing I can do to stop this **** is c****e MY PHONE NUMBER. I hope the person behind this dies. Inturrupting my peace and quiet. Just plain annoying. The fact that they are using Wells Fargo's good name would make me think their fraud department would be handling this - since this has been going on for a month - seems to me they arent doing anything about it either.

This is Wells Fargo Credit card collection.  I have a credit card that I am suddenly unable to pay right now due to extenuating cir***stances beyond my control.  I explained this and was told "ok, we will just keep calling like we do."  So I just keep ignoring, like I do.  But the calls come in all day long.  It is automated and annoying.  They are using harrassing techniques that I believe is a***nst the law.  They also unilaterally raised the interest rate.  I have not used the card for two years, have always paid it, and I owe more than I did two years ago because of the interest rate.  What to do....If it is a choice of paying the house note or the credit card, I choose the roof over my head, with the****ociated utility bills, which are also outrageous now.

Call 6 to 10 times daily. From reading other accounts it may or may not be Wells Fargo. Extremely frustrating when you are trying to relax. They even call on Sunday! I'm so sick of this ****! From reading other accounts I'm convinced it's a scam of some sort, if not, Well's Fargo needs a wake up CALL!

I'm somewhat relieved to see I'm not the only person receiving numerous calls daily on both my home and cell phones from this number. Call block does not work with this number; somehow they've found a way around it. I do have a card with WFB, but I know from experience they would not handle business this way, so in all likelihood it's a scam of some sort. From now on when they call, I will answer the phone pretending to be the local Police Department and maybe that will deter the SOB's.

I doubt this is directly created by Wells Fargo. They have no reason to call me. My concern is that for some reason, they are trying to keep the person on the phone for an extended period of time when THEY call and you answer. Maybe technology is so advanced that they could somehow worm into your phone files?? Especially for people with BlackBerry/Data Phones, with work info, etc. (???) Ha! They are actually calling right now, as I type...

Keeps calling over and over a***n, the past week, every single day. Never leaves message. I answered one call and an automated system kept asking for "Ashley" so and so, and to wait on the line for instructions if I was not "Ashley".

This phone number has called about 15 times in one weekend! This is a business and this is disrupting! I came in from the weekend and we had 29 phone messages! Just a few were clients, the others were **** ups from this number!

I have received calls from this number several times -- at work, on my cell. My mother-in-law has also received calls - they say they are calling from Wells Fargo about my son's credit card -- the first thing they do is ask for the credit card number. We knew it was a scam just from that question. Don't give these people any of your information.

Many, many calls, all from this number looking for someone I'd never heard of.  Afterfinding this page I called the 800 number listed above and talked to someone who saidthey'd have my number 'removed'.  What the couldn't tell me was why I was being called.Most annoying!

(503)403-2686 has been calling my cell number daily for about 2 months now. Yes****ay, they called 6 times in less than 5 minutes. Answering their call results in an automated service insisting that you are the person they are attempting to contact and gives you no option to speak to a human being if you are not. No message is left if you don't answer. I have called them back, explained that I have never held any account with them, nor am I either of the two people they seem to think my number links them to. I've had my number for several years. Pretty strange for it to be mistaken now for someone else's. They've****ured me it's taken care of, but they've already called a***n today and it's not even noon yet. I've asked nicely, but at this point, I'm rather thinking of calling them multiple times a day and asking for dead celebrities that owe me money...

Claimed to be Wells Fargo Card Services looking for a woman called Cindi Vaux(?). Never heard of this woman.Wells Fargo do not know this number.

Same number is now calling me.  Noone is there when I answer and no message is left when I don't answer.  I pay all my bills, so this couldn't be for me.  I think I'll try to get my name removed on Monday.

I got calls from this number 2-3 times a day. When picked up, it was always a voice message looking for Cynthia. Completely no idea who is that. I own my number for more than 3 years.  Got annoyed this morning when I got a call 8:08am. It is Sa****ay! I called AT-T. But their hours begin at 9am on Sa****ay. Then I called this number, 503 403 2686. When I got through to somebody without entering any card number, the phone was off. Called a***n, a man said he will remove my number. I must sounded very angry.

I've had this as a screened call for awhile, but after reading the posts, called the 800 number listed above (Wells Fargo) and they removed my number. Quick and painless.

She denied it was them who called (which is strange when it was their number)she said best to report it on line...so here you go...

I did not feel comfortable calling the 800-number they listed in the automated message because I thought it might be a scam, so this is what I did:Call Wells Fargo directly (got their Customer Service number from the WF website) and asked to be connected to their Collections Department.  I gave them my phone number and they were able to look up the person who they were trying to reach and promptly removed my phone number.

These calls are obviously from someone trying to steal our bank card numbers; the calls cannot be blocked with call blocking. When you call them back, the recording says "welcome to Wells Fargo. Please say or key in your credit card number"... Wells Fargo would never do that. Do not respond to this call. Report it to the authorities and they will trace it and track them down.

Frustrating and annoying!! This number, and others similar to it, call 7-10 times per day. No message ever left, and when I do answer-music or no one on line.

I receive 20 - 25 calls from this number daily and there is never a person on the line.  It goes directly to a busy signal and it is extremely annoying.  I thought I may be on some kind of auto dialer but would like it stopped immediately.  There is nothing that displays on the Caller Id.  Thank you for your help

It is Wells Fargo Calling to collect payment. I called 8776036194 which is WELLS FARGO and they took me off of their calling list.

This number rings my home and mobile phone in excess of ten times per day, with no one on the other end of the line. I went to my ***nch of Wells Fargo and they did not no anything about it. All but two of my accounts have been closed with Wells Fargo. The online banking division of W/F did nothing know anything about either.
