I've gotten ****-up calls from them every hour of the day within the legal collections hours, when I finally called back the first thing he asked me was for my account number and social security number. I demanded that he show me a Wells Fargo website with this phone number on it and he said that their automated dialer is one of several and so the phone number is not listed on the site. He said however to call the customer service number on the back of my debit card and to ask them to transfer me to the collections department and that it would indeed take me to the same people. I don't think it is a scam per sé, my account is indeed over-drafted due to fraudulent charges which is under investigation, but regardless do not EVER give your info to anyone calling you, I will call Wells Fargo Collections department and I will try to follow-up here with a physical address to which you can mail a cease and desist letter to to get them to stop calling.

I wish i could call them as much as they call and bug me... All day and nite all year! Even 5x's on Thanksgiving :/

Scam to get SS number and private info

this number calls all the time NEVER left a message. its driving me nuts. cant even have my ringer on cuz it would ring all the time.

I get about 8 calls or more a day from this#The phone rings once then they **** up.

Pretty sure this number calls our hotel everyhour and never says a word or leaves informatin.

They call multiple times. Most recently the called 5 times in less than 10 mins.

I have been getting calls all day today from this number.  I say*****o and I identify myself and then they **** up. They call about every hour.

This is absolutely NOT Wells Fargo. I've gotten 4 calls and I don't have an account. Do NOT give any personal information to anyone at this number unless you're dying to get your iden***y stolen.

Yeah!  I have been getting a call from this number every day for the last month as well!  I've never picked up or called them back, but I now know that I never will. I hope Wells Fargo does so****ing about it soon because it is driving me crazy!

i have been getting calls from this number since january 1st. never called them back but think i will today. Figured maybe old boyfriend but now that i know its not ill try to handle it.

I hve received 5 calls today from this number.  I answered once and got a ma****e that said "don't **** up, wait for important call."  I waited about two minutes then ***g up, I was very busy at work,  and could not just **** on.

I informed them I knew of the scam they were trying to pull.. & they still had the nerve to request my bank acct number... DO NOT ANSWER!!

over the past 4 days, i've received at least 6 calls from this no. i tried to call back, but ***oday answers.... why and who... pls. find out if someone could.

I get this number calling me atleast once a day...is it a scam?

Beware, I have also gotten up to 5 calls a day for 2 weeks, same thing, noone there when you answer, but if you call them back it is a wells fargo online protection scam.  I called my bank and they say it is not them, they would not ask the questions they are asking me.  They have asked me for basically all my bank and ss# info.  All sights to research come up it is out of Portland, OR(******ton).  Its a landline, an MCImetro,Ats provided, Multnomah county.  They want $ to get the rest of the info, won't do it.  Diddo's on frustration level!!

THIS IS A SCAM!! do not give any information, your address, date of birth, NOTHING to these people.  I have talked with Wells Fargo directly and they stated that their fraud department is looking into this scam already and that they have NO DEPARTMETNS with a 503 area code!  Please protect yourselves and your****est!!!! These people try to pretend that they are the bank.  When I threatened to report them one "attendant" told me to do whatever I have to do...the second told me that they would stop calling me immediately and that it was a mistake....even though I gave them none of my information!!!

*** ? This number has called me 1-2 a day for the last week. ***ody is ever on the line, whenever I answer the line ****s up. I googled this number and came to this website and am surprised it's calling more than me. I thought it was a wrong number, but it must be some computer calling.

I receive several calls a day every day since 2/9/08 from this number.  No message is ever left.  Other people have gotten calls from a similar number (503-403-2695) that turned out to be Wells Fargo.  I believe it is an Oregon area code.

I got a call from this number, and when I asked where they were from the person on the other line was very rude and said that they would prefer to identify themselves and ***g up on me.
