I JUST CALLED TO FIND OUT WHO IT WAS AND IT'S WELLSFARGO Spoke to an operator who s****ed the call with "can I get your Account # and/or Social Security #? Oh and I also noticed a voice shift from a young white lady who said "thank you for calling..." and then some different lady finished saying "...wellsfargo can I get your account #..." so I was like, ***??? then asked who was calling and she was like Sir, you called first, what is your first name...I'm like hahaha I knew this wasn't wellsfargo (u know cuz I just looked up the # here). Then she got all jumpy and I just ***g up. I'm going to call Wellsfargo and ask them what's going on... (CALLING...) ...Ok so I spoke to the operator and I guess all of us who have been reporting it have let them know and they're very well aware of it, but according to the operator there's not much they can do about it, but report it. SO THIS IS A SCAM!! DON'T GIVE ANYTHING TO THEM

I get calls every day but they never leave a message.

Same problem I get calls from a couple (503) prefix same ****. Just list as Do Not Answer in contact list I got about 15# listed like that all (503).

This number is NOT Wells Fargo. It is a scam (confirmed by our bank Wells Fargo). They will tell you they need you to confirm your account and SSN. They also told us our account was overdrawn at the ****mum allowance. If you have given your information to them close your accounts and s**** a fraud investigation immediately! If they contact you and press for information you can file a complaint with the FTC. If you are still questioning wither they are real or not our personal banker at Wells Fargo has told us to ask the dept. they work in and tell them you will call their dept. back on the 1-800-to-wells number. (They will try to talk you out of it) Luckily we were in the middle of fraud and were on the alert, otherwise they were so convincing we would have happily handed our info over. Especially when they told us we had su****ious purchases on our account. The only thing that ****s is Wells Fargo says they have no way or reporting fraud when it happens over the phone, only e-mail and letter. Doesn't sound right to me.

NOT WELLS FARGO! About 8:30 PM they called 3 times w/o leaving a message on my ma****e. I called them back (caller ID) and they asked for my social security number. Obvious fraud, because WF asks for your account number. Told them that I was going to make a fraud complaint, and they said they'd remove my phone number from their system. A***n, obviously not WF. Called WF fraud hot line, but they won't do anything unless you have an account. Bottom line, this is not WF and do not give them any personal info. W***ver reported below this is WF is one of the scammers!!!

The call none stop, and will not stop calling. I have read they are a scam claiming to be Wells Fargo, which I have never had a Wells Fargo account. I just wish I could find out how to stop them from calling. This is getting really really old.

I have been getting a call from this number and they do not leave a message but call at the oddest hours of the day and they are random times thinking i will answer.  If the number is not in my call history as someone i know i do not answer. This has been going on for about a week now. i wish they would stop. and i will be reporting it to the do not call list.

I called this number back and the person on the other line tried getting information from me. They wanted to know my account number and wanted to know my name and my fiance's name as well. Please do not give out any information you can tell it is a scam. The guy I talked to was unprofessional and seemed to only want my account numbers.

These #'s are a SCAM!!!! I thought it was a scam when they called 4 times in one day with no message, so I called Wells Fargo's 800 # to confirm. Wells Fargo DOES NOT have any collection agencies in Oregon (where these #'s originate from) and the representative at Wells Fargo said that they would never call and not leave a message, nor do they operate call centers like this. PROTECT YOURSELF PEOPLE!!!! This is a scam and they are out for your personal information. When they call just pick up and say that you will call Wells Fargo on their 800 # to confirm this, before you give out any information. I talked to an actual Banker as well as the phone representative with Wells Fargo and both have heard of this before and both confirmed that these 503 calls are SCAM ARTISTS!!! Also, if they are calling incessantly *60 is how to block numbers or you can call your service provider.

This person has called numerous times without leaving any messages. The person either needs to leave a message or must stop calling my number.

They have called me about 9 times per day on average for weeks now. I searched the number and people have reported that it's a scam, so I do not pick up. They call from various extensions, such as 1-503-403-2694, 2693, 2696, 2697, 2698, etc. I would suggest reporting them to the donotcall.gov website, as well as Wells Fargo.

I called the number and it IS the Wells Fargo Overdraft Dept. If you are receiving a call from them, it is because they have the number as a customer's access. All I did was explain that I wasn't there customer, they asked me to verify a name but I didn't recognize it and then he apologized and said I would receive no further calls. Hoping it works!

I have been getting calls from this number and several similar numbers at all times of the day. Upon answering, the other side ****s up. When I dial back the number, it IDs itself as "Wells Fargo Overdraft Department." I finally got through to their representative and complained about the situation. They looked up my number and said they were looking for someone with a different name. I asked for them to remove my number.

I received two calls from this number today. The same no response on the first call when I actually answered. The last time was late, around 8:50 pm...and I didn't answer but called back. Got the "wait on the line or 1 for spanish" so I waited and a rep answered. She asked me my account number. I did not give it to her but told her I work for Wells Fargo and wanted to know why I was receiving these calls. She asked for the phone number (mine) and I gave it to her. She asked if a Jose was there and I said no, that I recently acquired this cell phone number. She "removed" it from the calling list. People may be receiving calls because of someone who had the number before they did. Like me. I only believe this because earlier, I got a call from a tool supply store looking for a Jose. You can bet that when I go into work tomorrow, I will see if this is really affiliated with Wells Fargo. If they aren't, well they barked up the wrong tree calling me.

This number belongs to the Wells Fargo overdraft department. In the last week my company has received almost 100 **** up calls from the number. I called it back today and waited for a rep to answer. When they did I instructed them to remove our company phone number from their auto call listing. You can do the same if they are harassing you!! We have over 500 employees and any one of them could have an account there. I just found it rude that if you answer when then call the line just ****s up like a prank. Hope this helps you all!

I don't answer my phone if I don't know the number. This number has called my cell phone up to 7 times a day without leaving a message. It is frustrating.

i had a good laugh reading all these complaints but i'm here to answer your questions i do work in the dept that makes these calls all day. to s**** with it is wells fargo and we are not soliciting anything hence why the national do not call list means nothing to us. when you answer the system determines if you are a ma****e and is not good at it thats why it might **** up on you if it does connect you to us it takes a few seconds most people i talk to have said*****o 3-4 times before i hear them. if you dont know the person we are calling for politely say you never heard of them and dont **** up cause it may be a joint account we must ask for all account holders before we can mark it wrong number. if you call the number back just say you dont have an account # to give and missed our call we'll take your phone number find the account we called on and mark the number wrong long as you speak to someone that knows what theyre doing trusts you don't know the person. we can't leave VM for customer privacy reasons

These people keep calling at all hours of the day, multiple times a day. They are calling about a warrenty that has expired and asking me to pay to keep it going. I have waited in line to talk to a representative to complain that the person they are looking for is not me (it really isnt) and when I was finaly put through the representative ***g up. And I still receive phone calls.
