Leave a CommentWell, I just got off the phone with the 800 number for Wells Fargo. It is one of their Collections departments. They are calling for someone else and have removed my phone number from the account in question. Whether or not you have a debt with Wells Fargo, they can find the account with your number and remove it from the account. Call the 800 number and they will take care of it. The calls have stopped since I did this.
It's NOT Wells Fargo and you shouldn't answer the call nor call them back! YOU ARE USING MINUTES - YOU ARE PAYING FOR MINUTES! Get it? Don't you all see? They blame Wells Fargo, they pretend to be a scam when indeed they are a scam but not the scam you think. ALL of you are blaming the wrong company! THINK ABOUT IT!!You buy minutes for your pay as you go phone, then suddenly receive this annoying number, you call them or answer, wham bam thank you mam, we just made a few more pennies. Mine is TracFone, who's yours? The same, well well well, what a coincidence!!
I get calls like crazy as well. They all come from the following phone numbers:1-503-403-26971-503-403-26951-503-403-2691I have filed a complaint with the FCC. Hopefully if we file enough complaints someone will do so****ing about it.To find where to file a complaint, search "fcc complaint" in google :-)
Calls me 7-9 times a day, sometimes more. They never answer and they never leave a message. Other complaints say that when this caller does answer, they claim to be from Wells Fargo and request personal information. I ignore the calls now, and haven't answered them in over 2 weeks yet they keep calling. I suspect that this phone number is soliciting some sort of scam. You can report the calls at this website: https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
calling me 20 times aday i have complained to wells fargo but they have done nothing
THIS IS A SCAM!! do not give any information, your address, date of birth, NOTHING to these people. I have talked with Wells Fargo directly and they stated that their fraud department is looking into this scam already and that they have NO DEPARTMETNS with a 503 area code! Please protect yourselves and your****est!!!! Those saying it's Wells Fargo have either been duped, or are the scammers themselves attempting to fool you into revealing your info.Even though it's not Wells Fargo, SLAM WELLS FARGO WITH COMPLAINTS!!If Wells Fargo cares about it's public image, it's a way to get them to stop this harrasment. Force them to put their substantial power into stopping this.File your complaints with the FCC here...https://donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxAlso, check your state to see if there is a complaint department specific to your state. They call from:503-403-2694503-403-2697503-403-2695503-403-2691They call up to ten times a day, will not leave a message, and there's no one on the phone if I choose to answer. When you call them, there's an automated message that identifies them as Wells Fargo, but doesn't allow you to leave a message. Some people have gotten through to people saying they're with Wells Fargo who then ask for information.SLAM WELLS FARGO WITH COMPLAINTSIt's the only way to get the authorities to stop this harrasment.Fraudulent emails and websites:[email protected] or stolen checks and debit/ATM cards:1-800-869-3557Lost or stolen credit cards: 1-800-642-4720Su****ious online transactions: 1-866-867-5568
NO COMMENT. AUTOMATED CALLER. WHEN I CALLED BACK I TALKED TO AN OPERATOR THAT SAID IT WAS WELLS FARGO CALLING REGARDING OVERDRAWN CHECKING ACCOUNT. I ADVISED HER OF THIS SITE.

I called the number back and someone from wells fargo answered and removed the number from their list.
I have recived 6 calls from this number today. They ***g up on me 4 times. I asked why they were calling me and they told me it was a personal matter. They would not tell me what the matter was but they asked for me. So i am thinking that this is a scam, because i don't bank at wells fargo never have never will.
This number is Wells Fargo and they've been calling our main line for a state agency several times a day, everyday and then when you anwer, it just ****s up. I just called and had our number removed.
these people keep calling, when I answer there is no one on the other end. I do not have a wells fargo account of any kind
we are a multi million oilfield service company and since yes****ay these ****s have called our business over 15 times.....this really needs to stop. Is there a way to make them stop calling?????? I say that we just s**** calling the corporate office all day long maybe they will get the hint?
Calls about every 15 min. during work.
Seriously... if you don't want to talk to me, why dial the number? (****** auto-dialers.) Yes, it's Wells Fargo overdraft department. But why **** up every time I answer? Common!
NUMBEROUS ****-UPS FROM THIS NUMBER
They call me at work too, I do have a Wells account but there's nothing wrong with it, no overdrafts, nothing pending, no problems... annoying. The calls come in, I pick up, no answer or sound at all and then 3 seconds later a fast busy signal or a disconnect. The calls s****ed about a week ago.Thank goodness for this site, I got to write the number down right before the line disconnected and Googled it to this forum. I can't make long distance calls from work, so this site was really helpful.
I made a typo in my last message. The original call was from 503-403-2697. Now the calls come from 503-403-2695. Both are Wells Fargo in Oregon.
I just s****ed getting calls about a week ago. At first it was 503-405-2697. Lately they've been calling from 503-403-2695 which is also Wells Fargo. I called them from a computer based phone service so they didn't get a "call back" number, and I told them my number they'd been calling (but not my name--since its a wrong number anyway), and asked them to stop. The guy put me on hold and then said after about a minute that I wouldn't be receiving any more calls. But I have. Several a day. They're calling my tracfone number. It's not even my regular number. I don't answer. I just want them to stop.
I received numerous calls from this number and either there was no one there when I answered or my answering ma****e picked up and there was no messages left. I called the number back and the call was answered by an automated system which identified itself as Wells Fargo Accounts. I stayed on the line and spoke to a live person who apologized for the excessive automated calls and offered to remove the number from their computer banks. Since I do not have an account with Wells Fargo, they would not talk to me about why I was getting the calls -- only that the calls would cease if I gave them my phone number and they remove it from their computer.
This number is a residential landline in Portland, OR. It could be a scam artist in Oregon trying to get your iden***y.
It is definately Wells Fargo, I answered a call for my brother and asked who it was. They just said it was so and so from Wells Fargo. That number has called my house about 9,000,000 times.
Number calls our place of business everyday ... never anyone there. Extremely annoying.
Also if you trace where the area code and prefix numbers point to they trace back to Portland, ******ton, and Tigard Oregon. Which is where one of wells fargo's corporate headquarters are.
It is wells fargo calling about an overdrawn checking account most likely or possibly other overdrawn accounts (credit) that you might have. They will not leave a message and when you try and call them back at the same number it gives you the error message that says "we're sorry but your call cannot be completed as dialed." It might not be wells fargo though it could be some collection agency which I think is probably more likely, I have not actually been able to talk to anybody when I have answered for whatever reason the call just disconnects after a few seconds. But knowing where my accounts are at and by reading other peoples posts on this phone number on different sites I can say with 96% certainty that it is wellsfargo calling about whatever you may owe them.
they call me all the time. I have tried calling them back and you can't.
calls 10-12 times a day won't leave message ???
