I just called the number back and was given the option to press "1" and have my number deleted from their call list. We'll see how that goes. I'll keep all posted.

I spoke to a representative at Level 3 Communications: 1800.783.7380 and he differed me to the 1877.371.8776 number where you can leave a recording. He indicated the call is spoofing another number, and suggests calling your carrier and ask them to trap the number to trace it back to the original source. There is also an email addy [email protected]

SALES REP FOR A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM. POLITE BUT INSISTED THAT I TALK TO A SPECIALIST WHO WOULD EXPLAIN THE SYSTEM AND SET UP INSTALLATION DATE. I DECLINED AND OFFICIALLY TOLD HIM THAT I WAS ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I THEN FILED A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. DOUBT IF THIS WILL STOP SUCH CALLS, BUT MY COMPLAINT IS NOW ON RECORD AND "MAY" HELP ANY FUTURE LITIGATION AGAINST THIS SPAMMER.

I've gotten about 6 calls from this number over the past week. I called the number back from another number and there is a recording that says it's a marketing company and if I want them to stop calling me to press 1. SO I contacted the FCC and reported the number to them since I'm on the do not call list. The FCC said that they would contact the called and they should not call me again after a 24 hour waiting period. The other phone # was the same : 425-390-8156

Called me 3 times today. Answered the third time. The guy was ultra creepy and very persistent. Claims they are a security company and wanted to install a security system in my house. I began to say "dude im not interested" but he cut me off and said "we'll call back at a later time..." Like i said - ultra creepy

I went ahead and made an appointment for a home security person to come out. I'll tell him in person to quit calling or I'll keep making appointments and waste his time also. I put the # in my phone and assigned a no ring option to it.

They call my cell phone 2-3/day. Each time I report it to the DNC site - USELESS! They've call 12 times since 12/22/11 (when I started keeping track). I filed a formal complaint with FCC this morning. Also getting call from 425-390-8156 number. Bet they're the same telemarketing company. Don't answer that one either. Wish mobile phone carriers would provide call blocking free to us. Costs $5.00/month for the service but, if this keeps up, may be worth it.
