Caller said they needed a deposit from my bank account for a new meter immediately. Also, they said they were sending a person out to disconnect my power in 7 minutes if I didn’t make a payment. The guy was rude and tried ti tell me ot wasn’t a joke (it is a joke and scam). His number i was directed to 240-245-2522, ext. 22 (he said his name was Joseph, probably a lie too).
