Anonymous Scam number

Received an ominous threatening phone call from this number today, did not click through as directed in order that I might supposedly "eliminate having legal action taken a***nst me" Voice was female, very threatening. An elderly person would surely be completely unnerved upon receiving this phone call. I hope they may locate the origin of the call and stop them from making it to anyone else.

Rob I called the same number (877) 783-5192. I've figured a little bit out about this operation, they've used service provided by Covista of Tennessee, but their equipment could be anywhere as Covista may just be providing them VOIP service and trunks. I found a company called Revocalize online today that lists "lead generation" for security systems, and called them, and pressed option 2 for customer service. The guy who answered said that indeed they are conducting calls for home security and that they only contact opted-in customers. (I of course said there was no way I was opted in, but that didn't seem to matter.) yes I got a call from this number. they never leave a message and I never answer the phone when they don't identify themselves!

if you ask them to put you on do not call list does it help?

Jay 2 rings and they **** up... 5 calls in the last 2 days' all the same. I answer as a business on a company cell phone.

PISSED I have filed over 13 complaints with the do not call registry a***nst whomever thes people are. And calling the number back and "pressing one to be removed" does not work. I've done that six times.

I have received a call from this number 2X yes****ay and 3X today, first one at 7am and the 3rd one at noon! Persistant little ******s! I don't answer when I don't recognize the name/number...figure it's telemarketers. In the view window of my phone it says "service message" ANNOYING! How do we stop them?
