Just like previous comment: I received a message regarding an item I was offering on Facebook Marketplace. Sender was an "Alicia R Hallett" who left the following message: "can i pick up it ,text my sell number (509) 563-0249". Most buyers don't start off with a comment like that and obviously, this is a case of spamming. Why, I have no clue. Ridiculous waste of their time and mine.

I received a call from this number with a recording saying that it was the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me. This is the lowest kind of filth-IRS SCAMMERS! If you have the ability, annihilate these bastards, they prey on old people! The IRS is an arm of government, not the dang enemy, scammers like this do a lot of harm. Death to SCAMMERS!

JV I received a call from this number. It was a recorded message saying it was from the IRS. This is your final notice. The IRS will be filing a lawsuit against you. I did not call back. I will be sending this information to the IRS and to the MS Attorney General's office. 9-4-2015

CN Received the same call today. My husband spoke to a man with a heavy accent. Man said he was calling from the IRS and we owed money. I called back 1 hr later. Spoke to Fernando Santiago and I owe IRS money but he doesn't want my money. He just wants me to go to jail. Said they would be here in 35 minutes to get me an take me away. That was 2 hrs ago. I gave him no information but he had my name, address and phone number. IRS doesn't call taxpayers!

FF Got several calls from this number today. They are robo calls. They are telling me that IRS has filled a law suit against me and that I should call them back immediately. I hang up each time or it goes to the voice mail. I will report them to DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.

I missed the call. I also live in Canada and have no reason to be called from somewhere in the states. I have no doubt it's scam!

Dave I was asleep at the time and missed the call, I have reason to believe that it is spam, seeing as they called back 13 times after. I live in Canada.
