Received a text [sms] message in plain legible English but with random accents over letters that have nothing to do with english (or any language I am familiar with), claimed their name Marlee (with accents or other symbols above the letters r and the second e, this website won't allow me to add them) and claimed they were looking for someone named Reign. I told them they had the wrong number and they preceded to send me photos of a beautiful young blonde woman. Seemed su****ious to follow up being told you've texted the wrong number with a selfie so I used Google's reverse image search feature... turns out this photo pops up a lot with almost identical intro texts, a woman looking for a man she met a while back and is hoping to meet up with. As far as I can tell this specific scam with this image used (but different numbers every time) has been circulating since the beginning of October 2021.
