It is ILLEGAL for anyone to threaten jail for ANY debt including default payday loan checks, it is ILLEGAL for the agency to tell anyone ELSE that they are coming after you (you friends, relatives, boss, etc.) and it is ILLEGAL for them to keep calling when you have asked the Company to stop.  As it turns out, I've READ the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and I know that payday loan checks do NOT count as "bad checks" because the PDL company knew you didn't have the money when they accepted the check.  (Google it yourself - page 20 of the do***ent.)

I AM SO UPSET RIGHT NOW!!!! I cannot believe I was ****** enough to believe these posts. Due to these ****** posts I did not take care of my account. Thinking that it was a scam. This ***** called both my mother in law and my mother and threated them with supeonas. Said they would have to go to Austin, Texas and pay for it themselves. Told both of them there is a warrant for my arrest. This is all because of a past due payday loan. I am not ******. I know this is illegal. What can I do to stop these ****s from calling and harassing me and everyone I know?

these people are lying ... i have checked with all the texas athorities and no one knows of them.. so i have filed a complant with the austin sheriffs dept. if they keep on with you, you need to call this # 512-854-4333 this dective would like to hear from you.......call and report harassment..........

this person called said he was a detective and was charging me for theif service and gave me 30 min to hr to money gram 1,350 dollars than finally lowered price to 700 dollars now said it was concering cash in minutes service were can i get help to know who this company is and will i keep getting harrased

recieved a call from a allan parker stating he was an investigator and i was wanted for fraud. he stated he will prosecute me to the fullest extent of the law. if i do not call him by may 12, 2008 he will have me picked up. i had a loan for 150.00 that i rolled oved 5 times at 66.00 each i feel like they have teir money but they keep calling i know these companies are illegal in pa but what can i do

They are now calling people who have the same last name as me in my town.  Trying to locate me! I found out at a little local store in my town. A man from LTA called this lady and asked her if she knew me.  She told them she had no idea who I was and have never heard of me! I thanked her for that.  The sad thing is this lady really has no contact information for me just the same last name. I have already alerted the people at my work about what was going on just incase one of these idiots try to call my work.I can't wait to open up this site one day and read about how LTA got into trouble.

I currently am on disibilty and work part time i recieved a  phne call from one a  co worker that theis allen parker charactor called and told them he was a investigator and proceeded to tell her that i would be arrested for fraud if i didnt return  his call by monday at 11 isnt this a***nst the law and if i do owe monery can arrangements be made help!!!!

i got a call allen parker and the i guy operator told me i dont have much time .i have to come up 337.50 at moneygram .is this a threat or leagle .can they press charges in stae of michigan .from texas can they put warrnet for arreast .did mine 337.50 just got rip off .sounds like movie brekdown .can they legle do that are they cops or brtenders .

i also got a voice mail message at work from some guy name Allen Parker at tel #512-340-0493 I have contacted this person 3 times today and have not gotten a response, i to will also be contacting the Texas Attorney General office and the FTC once I get more information on this s*** bag piece of s**t. I did some research and there are numerious websites out there with this same telephone # and information on this Allen Parker guy he is really one piece of s**t excuse for human life and his day will come he to will be in***** one of these days real soon for what he has done to people like you and me.  i am telling everyone that reads this website report this ******* to the Texas Attorney general office so they can continue to launch to investigate these guys and arrest them cause what they are doing is illegal. I Haven't, but I wrote to the Office of the Attorney General in Austin Texas and they are going to to an investigation. The thing is we all have to write to them so the investigation will be faster. I have a question? Did anyone get a nasty message after you posted your info on here? I got a nasty message saying I was lying about the felony. I'm just an everyday american working 9 to 5 I have no reason to lie about anything on here. He also said he would love to see my face when they arrest me and that he was not harassing me. They called me from 512-340-0493 and stated me and my ex husband owe a cash advance, which was dated back in Jan 2007. I have been separated since Aug 2006 and we have no accounts together. So that can't be possible. He threated to have been arrested and charged with a felony. I have never been in any trouble and I don't see how it's possible for them to call and harass anyone. I told them I would forward there information over to my divorce att and they wouldn't give me a mailing address. I think it's a scam!!!!

Back in September 2007 I get a phone call at work and it was a guy called Travis Watson stating that he had a warrant for my arrest because I owe for a loan. First of all he didn't even say where he was calling from or anything else but that. Of course, I got scared and asked what was it for and he said that it was for a loan of $150 and that now I owe over $550. I told him that I could give him the Full amount of the loan so he can close my file and refused. Well I had to wire him $100 in order for him not to send the paperwork to the authorities.Anyway I was scared and wired the $100 a month later I get another call at work from a Rich Franklin stating the same thing that I falied to send more money and he had issued a warrant. I ignored it and a day later he calls me a***n at work and I was already gone and he went and told a co-worker my personal business that I commited a fraud and that I was going to go to jail for that. I was so mad when my co-worker called my cell to tell me about this guy, so right away I called the FTC and they recommended me NOT to send anymore money because this company is a SCAM they are not real. I'm just getting tired of all the phone calls I get at work (at least 5 times) everyday. I had asked for paperwork and refused to send it to me, I also asked for name and address of the Co. and also refused to give me that info. I think we all have to get together somehow and have these guys arrested.I have 3 different phone #'s for them which are:(512)340-0890 ,  (512)340-0745 and (512)340-0493

This guy name Rich Franklin is calling my house also making the same threats.  We need to pull together and do so****ing about this man.

I received a call from them also. I am in the state of South Carolina. they are constantly calling my job. what can I do? I need help.

I recieved a call from this company also and they called my references telling them a warrant has been issued for my arrest. This is illegal but they are taking illegal actions to try to get money they loaned to me illegally. I just found out it is a***nst South Carolina law for them to loan money over the internet to a resident of South Carolina and they know this so they are doing everything possible to get money but they won't get a dime from me! HAHAHA! And the name is just to scare you! You ain't scaring me punks!

I recieved a call from this person at this same number threatening to arrest me too. I borrowed $200 from a company by the name of cash in minutes and he has been harrassing me every since... He told me the police would come and get me from the hospital when I had my baby.

My daughter got a call from this number from a guy called Rich Franklin, he threathren her with felony for a payday loan.  He could not gve me any information on his company.
