The State of Texas was calling regarding a question I had emailed them. So in my case, this was a valid, reputable call.

Called about our Franchise tax account in order to make sure it was closed out properly.

This is an internal number at the Texas Workforce Commission. Callers can dial out on it, but call recipients cannot re-dial to get an answer.

It's a burn number state of Texas gov hides behind. Should be reported to the Atty general

Call with ****up. Likely stinger call. Call and immediate redial said number is disconnected or no longer in service.

Mine did leave a VM and it was from the Texas State Comptrollers office. From the looks of the other comments, it may be a rotating dialer used to call out from the State of Texas governmental offices. Could be the same number that shows up, but coming from various State offices. I think the Spammer score is incorrect.

They said that it was the State Comptroller and I did not apply for the money, but they want to send me $15.00 left from a credit union. She said that the mail was returned, but I did not believe her.

It's Tcleose. They oversee police officer standards and education for the state of Texas. More specifically, technical****istance.

Got a call from this number and it was the Texas Education Agency, they were responding to a question i'd sent them.

i got a call from this number 5 times when i answer my cell they **** up they call my home number they **** up a***n i don't know anyone at this number  so i wish they stop calling my phone i try dialing this number back its not in services  the best thing for who ever calling my phone from this number its need to stop if it don't  i will go off on them thanks

Me and my girlfriend have received calls from this number from the Texas State Comptroller, School Board of Education (SBEC), and Texas State Board of Examiners of ******logy. It seems that this number is used by several agencies.

This number should be the  Texas State Comptroller's Office. It was made in responseto an email question I had previously sent them.ern

I received a phone call at my work in Wichita, KS.  I am not sure what or who it was.  I had no messege on my phone.  I tried to call it back and received a recording that the number had been disconnected.

This is a fax number from the Texas Secretary of State.

This call was from a Texas Representative in response to a letter that I had written.  It is legitimate and I am amazed that I received such a fast reply

This number is also used by state agencies as a trunk number.  Sometimes when we call out, this is the number shown.  I do not work as a tax collector, it's just the older PBX used by the state.  Hey above...pay your taxes and you wont get any calls....

I get called daily, several times a day from 512-427-9057.  Wish it would Stop.  But with our government at work, that's All i can do.  WISH.    Years ago, our politicians said we wouldn't get Any More, OUT OF AREA, calls.   I Still get them. Do You?

I also keep getting calls from 512-427-9057 and for some reason the phone number looks familiar as I also live in the 512 area.  When I call back, same response: Phone number no longer in service.  What gives?  Very, very frustrating.

Calls from 1-512-427-9057 are most likely regarding Texas State Sales taxes.  The call is from a blind line used to call without showing caller ID.  This is the same as any calls from a collection agency with out any rules.  YES THEY ARE RECORDED  (And YES THE TAX PAYERS PAY FOR IT.)  I don’t know why they act like such dollar store detectives.  It cannot be called back because to make the call to you they go through a switch board or PBX. and, or a enter a code to use the service.  This service will allow them to call people who have anonymous caller rejection service through the phone company. Other times an auto dialer places the call and your account appears on the "COLLECTORS" screen and the COLLECTOR sees your info some times they have already resolved the problem and cause you can’t call them back they just **** up.  Remember tax owed in the amount owed $100 cost $300.00 so it pays for them to just keep calling.  Its funny I saw the same # 1-512-427-9057 on letter with the return fax number header for the Supreme Court of Texas.  Is this how laws are put on the books in Texas. Lawyers can’t even fax a pleading because BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. “THE NUMBER THAT JUST CALL FIVE SECONDS AGO IS NOW DISCONNECTED”.

called at 7 am in the morning.  Couldn't understand the lady on the other line.  Then she said she had to call me back and I told her don't bother calling back because it was 7 in the morning.  I think she had already ***g up.

I answered the phone call on my cell phone.  I stayed on for a couple of seconds, NO RESPONSE.  I called back from a standard phone and the ph# is "disconnected"
