evo called me last week, had wrong address for my business so they went to my residence, they came teh next day to my office address and picked up my current rate sheet, havent heard back from them now in over 4 days. what gives? Not sure if they can actually beat my rates or not well see if they ever call me back.I would note however that I have tried on several occasions to call them on the toll free number and I cna never talk to a person, just messages driving me nutz!Jonwww.chequesnow.ca
I have had no problem with my merchant services through Evo, They called me at work were pleasent and i am glad they did as I was being charged way to much through bank. You know that thier are more than one company calling some ruder than others however if some one did not contact me I would have NEVER UNDERSTOOD how I was being over charged.
Did you go to school to learn how to call people idiots?
@ Susan: Please do not spread misinformation. Their ****mum contract length is 3 years with a termination fee of $500. This is pretty common practice and is no different than cell phone companies, cables companies, etc.
They've called daily for months, 4 times within the hour today!!!!! I finally got thru to a rep on the 877-355-2082, after the last automated option and a pause I was transfered to a rep. She said they'll take it off. Be sure to tell them to fo. EVO Ca***a, Montreal Ph 514-315-2935, 877-355-2082Fx 514-315-2940, 877-355-2083
EVO Ca***a is a big scam. I have a merchant account through them and I am stuck in a contract for 5 years, it would cost me too much money to get out. They gave me a low front end rate of 1.50 but ****ed me with all kinds of back end fees and rates. BIG SCAM!!!!!!! They have the worst customer service, perople are rude and do not know what they are doing. They set me up with Global Payments and if you call Global Payments they tell me to deal with EVO Ca***a. Global told me themselves that I should never have signed with them. Go figure.
How do I get your company to stop calling my company? You phone nearly every weekday, often more than once a day. Your staff are often rude and short not even allowing us to complete a sentence before ****ing up. Quite often the line is dead upon answering. Just because what you are doing is within legal boundaries doesn't justify angering and alienating the business community. My staff are always pleasant and professional but are instructed to ask to be removed from all phone lists we don't have active partnerships with. As owner, I would NEVER support a business with such poor practices nearing harassment. If a prospective client is not interested in your business ... I would NEVER contact them DAILY just to check to see if they've c****ed their minds. How frustrated would that make them? Who would trust a company with this business practice? Maybe you should use spamming techniques as well? Spending my time on-line, resear****g how to stop your business from contacting us should be a clear sign that your business strategy is flawed. My next stop is the CRTC to file a complaint. I suggest all who read these posts to do the same. Further I'd like to add, instead of seeing the bigger picture, you actually question the logic of the "posters" of this forum that your business has been frustrating. You sir, though seemingly educated, are very *******ted. These "Posters" you insult are the prospective clients your business continues to call ... you sir are an idiot.
Nice comeback - !@#!@#!@#Still wary - and definately not interested.

Business to Business telephone solicitation is still legal. It is only illegal to call someone on their home number if they have registered on the Do Not Call List. If you list your home office number as your business number, I guess they still have the right to contact you on that number even if you add it to the Don Not Call List.I'm not saying that I welcome these calls, but if what you have to offer is important enough for me to want to buy, then at least leave a message.
I had a long distance call today from 514-315-2935 asking for me by first name. I asked who they were, lady said EVO Ca***a and offered credit card services for businesses. I replied, I am retired for several years, her list must be out of date. I requested to be removed from her list as well as all in her office. She said they would comply & was sorry for bothering me. I remarked, I thought telephone soliciting was illegal in Ca***a. She remarked back that what they were doing was legal. Go figure!
