They called us today, but their computer ****s up when we pick up the call. Reported to be Synergie-contact, a bs telemarketer trying to make us believe that they call for a bank.

received calls twice a day for the last 3 days...from 514-315-6779.  No one talk when I answer, then the line goes dead.  Can get through when I try to phone back.  Where to send a complaint?

Last night they reached me a***n.  I tried to know who they are. But, representative didn't accept to answer. She talked about life insurance from CIBC. I'm client of this Bank.  This morning I called CIBC to know if there's a promotion about that. She gave their phone number (416) 391-2362 CMA Marketing, www.the-cma.org. Go to this site you'll see many names of CIE - May be you are a client from one of these cie.  That's why you receive this call. Marketing Marketing.....  (sorry about my English language - I'm french and I do my best)

À voir tous les messages affichés sur ce numéro j'ai l'impression que nous sommes pogné à recevoir ces appels sans but.   Is there somebody who tried to do so****ing about it ? or there is nothing to do and they will continued to call a***n and a***n.

these people are calling about a month when we answer no one replys and when we call back this number the call doesn`t get thru.I call the operator and she will do an investigation on this number

They are harassing me. They call me at least 3 times a day, everyday. What can be done about this?

I received th call on my cell.  I called back, the call didn't get through.Not sure why and how they got my number, and what they are looking for.

I called them back... got a man who answered, and just kept saying "No English"?

They called twice - once today and once yes****ay approx. 10:00 am Pacific Time.  No one on the actual line and I called back, I received a busy tone.

They call me every day mostly at 11.00 am but ***ody home :)

They have called me twice now, onces saying they were yellowpages and another time not saying anything. Creepy.

A woman ask me for be listed in the yellow page, we are a company ... She books me a rendez-vous with a saller ...I will cancel that. I try to phone, but no ring!

Said they were "Yellow Pages", but when pressed they claimed they were a marketing company.  Could be legit, but we've received clearly fraudulent offers from this area code.  I asked to be placed on their "do not call" list.   Let's hope that works.

I have the same call but I din't answer, I try to call them back but they **** up on me several time,so  don't answer to those scammers

Funny, you speak of Yellow Pages... But the women I spoke to (5 minutes ago) told me she is from BMO and that they have new product on which I could be interested.  I politely asked to call back after 5PM (I'm at work, so easy to understand, and it gives me time to make some verification on the phone number).  Good thing I did !2 weeks between last Yellow Page comment and my BMO call... They, scammers, switch strategy ?I don't think she will call back, but if she does, I'll make sure to take as much info as I can.  I'll keep you posted.

Caller claimed, he called from "YELLOW PAGE GROUP". And needed to verify our company info.So, my colleuage forwarded the line to me.When I pick-up the line, it already **** up.That's why I want to check more info about this phone number.Found, I am not alone.My opinion, it is OK for just checking the accu**** of info. But if ask more than that ...... NO WAY!!!Ask a number to return & search more info from web.

The reason I got the company name is that I was persitent when the person called me in asking for it (as I had seen the note from angry guy, I didn't accept them saying they were Yellow Pages). I noted down the info and posted the information. I looked up the company and realized I made a mistake. A***n, DON'T give them your info. If you want to update your Yellow Pages listing, call Yellow Pages directly! (It still remains that I don't think it's a scam but this is just my opinion).

I made a mistake in the name of the firm, it's Synergie NOT Synergik (which is just a web design company).Synergie-Contact is a call center in Montreal located on Sherbrooke Street. Hi, it's not a scam, the number belongs to Synergik, a company our of Montreal, Quebec. They are apparently hired by Yellow Pages to update database information on companies. You don't actually get any bills, etc.

This 5143156779 number looks as if it is on a trunk, and that is why they get dead air, actually it connects and ****s up within 3 seconds.I just got a call from this number and did some digging.  They were looking to "verify" my information, claiming they were from Yellow Pages Group. They didn't have any information to verify to me that they were yellow pages group. THis is why I became su****iose.  I asked for a number to call them back at, she gave me another yellow pages group real 800 number in which I called.  They did know this was going on, and complimented me on cat****g on.   This telemarketer claiming they are yellow pages group is trying to collect information, and verify's who has authority at the business they call ( Yes Your cell might be listed as a business number) once they verify the info, well, collect it, they send a bill.  Not sure what they actually do, if anything, but it is a scam.
