Saying my atm card was disabled and I needed to activate it.  It actually came up as 201

Called said they were from security federal and said my debt card had been accessed illegally and wanted my card number and other personal info. I ***g up. Don't fall for this scam. How did they get cell number? Logansport indiana.

got a call from a citizen advising the she got a call from Security Federal that her card had been frozen due to fraudulent activity

I got a call at 3:26am central time from this Montreal number. I ***g up on it because who would call in the middle of the night??!! Thanks for everyone else's posts, I see it was the right thing to do!!!

I just got a call and it named a bank from my small home town...I was like what the***** was going on so I got on Yahoo and it led me here. This kind of thing really ****es me off. I posted on my facebook for people to not answer this number encase they get this call.

Automated message stating they were the security department of our credit union and that our credit card was put on hold because they thought it had been accessed by a third party.  They then asked for me to key in MY ACCOUNT NUMBER and give them three more pieces of information.  I don't know what they were becaue I ***g up at that point.

I just received a call on my home # from ****e Community Bank which is a local bank, but not mine. Of course I ***g up and called the police. The poor officer knew what I was talking about before I even said anything as many people were calling in at that moment. ****** scammers!

I recieved a call at around noon today, it was an automated voice saying my ATM card was deactivated, I have recieved three of these calls in the last 24 hours.

I just received a call on my cell phone from this number saying it was First National Bank and that my ATM card had been suspended.  We don't have an account with First National Bank.

17 Apr 2009  2:20pm       On my cell phone,  a recorded voice said, "This is Community First National Bank and due to the many fraud uses of numbers your credit card  has been canceled. Press 1 to ..."I ***g up because I do not have any business with this company and I figured it was a su****ious call.

I got a call at 12:03am, my fiance got one at 3am!

My husband and I each got the call on our cell phones, at 2:20 in the morning!

I received one at 12:04AM today (did not answer), felt su****ious, amazed at how people are scamming!!

I have received part of an automated voice message several times on my landline and now they are s****ing on my cell phone.  All I get out of it is "to activate".  I never answer, but this is getting old.

i got a text and then a call from the number 514-667-9346 saying my bank account was locked then the call said my ATM card was disabled. several of my local friends got it to. they SPECIFICALLY name our bank. IT SCARES US we want to switch banks nows.the call says it came from MONTREAL,QB
