I provided my cell number to Mediacom when they recently scheduled a service call. Since then, I've been receiving regular sales calls from 515-246-1754, to the tune of 10-20 times a week! Today, as MLS suggested, I called 800-332-0245. The service rep told me she would make my number "private," and the calls would stop. Mind you, they haven't yet, but I'm encouraged. (To get a service rep, you want to ignore the menu options and just hit 0.)

I would like you to stop calling.  I"m not interested in any promotions.

Pretty much same experience as Amanda.  I'm a Mediacom customer and they keep leaving a pre-recorded voice message that I can't understand and when I try to call back the number it won't go thru.  Annoying as***** as they are calling my cell phone cuz we got rid of the land line to stop the harassing sales calls!  Lot of good THAT did!

I'm a Mediacom customer too, and I got a call from this number today.  I have gotten a lot of calls before, but it has been awhile since the last one.  It's incredibly annoying, especially since they call my cell phone.  I don't have a land line for a reason.

This number is Mediacom out of Des Monies Iowa. If you want to get no more calls, call their customer service number. That is #800-332-0245

2nd call from them in 1 week.  The recording s****s in the middle, so I wasn't even sure who they were.  Annoying.  If it continues, I will call Mediacom.  We've had enough problems with them just getting service - I don't need them harassing me for more - they can't handle what they have.

If you have a prior relationship (current, past customer), it is not a***nt the do-not-call list rules, unfortunately.I get a call once every few months, not too bad...

I have gotten 3 calls from this number and once i called it back and it said it was some insurance company.

I used to be a Mediacom customer, but dropped them a few months ago.  I'm on the Do Not Call Registry.  They shouldn't be calling.

I am on a no call list and not suppose to get calls from telemarketers

I'm a mediacomm cust as well, I'm going to try and call one of their offices and find out where their CC is and have them remove me from whatever calling list they have to call me, I advise doing the same.

Just got one on my company blackberry for this number...they said "sorry, wrong number"

I have been receiving random calls from this number.  Some days 2-3 calls then like 2 months with none.  Usually it is just noise in the phone, and when I call back it connects, but nothing.  Today it was some random guy saying "wow" noise, then **** up.

I have been receiving calls from this number ever since I downgraded my cable package.  There are never messages, and when I call it back, I never reach anyone.
