This number calls multiple times a day/week lately, and when I answer, they **** up. Apparently it's Mediacom trying to get me to spend more money with them.

This number keeps calling me too. Every time I answer they **** up. I'd call the main number and tell them to stop but anyone who does business with Mediacom knows what a pain in the a** it is to reach a live person at their 1-800 number. What a freaking annoyance.

The dialers they have call multiple numbers at once, and they get forwarded to whomever picks up first. So, even if the person who actually gets to talk to the rep only picked up a split second before you did, they still get helped first and you get an empty line. Also, the Do Not Call registry does not apply to companies or organizations that you already have a relationship with. So, if your cable company, credit card, or cell phone provider feel like soliciting you for more money, even if you're on the DNC they can call you up until you say you don't want anymore calls, and even then it might not make them stop.

This is mci or at&t calling about signing with them. They call all the time, even if you've signed up on the no call list.

Got a call while at work... Didnt know the number so i checked out this site...Figured since my numbers on the national do not call list my national do not call list that my own cable subscriber would have the respect enough not to call and try to sell me somthing.

Grr... Ok so why would they **** up and have the nerve to play a recording saying "sorry we missed you" when I call back??? I hate promotional ****... NO IM NOT BUYING ANYTHING!! lol.

Just called the number back. It is from mediacom "about a promotional offer you may be qualified for" but it's just a recording you can't get a real person. Why call, ****up when the phone is answered, and have a dead-end voice recording when called back?

Yep, just called back. It's a phone call from Mediacom about promotional stuff. I got this last week about the UFC fights, and I would guess since St. Pierre is fighting this weekend that's what it is about!

It's mediacom- solicitations.  they have a great new offer for you from mediacom... blah blah blah...

They called me randomly I said*****o and they ***g up. I live in 319 area code not 515.

I received a call while at work from this number. I didn't pick it up, they didn't leave a message. I figured I'd check online for the area code before calling them back. I live in the 319.

These people having been calling my cell number since morning almost 2-3 times. I didn't pick up the phone deli***tely, knowing that it wasn't on my cell ph directory.. I do not know who the***** gives away them our cell numbers... *****S..DUMB*****...

They've called my cell twice in the last 2 hours...once an hour. I don't answer since i'm at work and they don't leave a message. Also got a call that showed up as +5054286368 on my caller id
